    摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs without compressing the webs. A quilting machine includes a needle bar to which needles are attached, needle thread passing through each needle, a looper shaft to which loopers are attached, a looper corresponding to each needle and from which looper thread is provided to form stitches, and a retainer bar to which spreaders are attached to facilitate stitching. A drive pulley powered by a first servo motor rotates cranks to move the needles through a cycle and rotates a belt which rotates an indexer pulley. Rotation of the indexer pulley oscillates the looper shaft and reciprocates the retainer bar. Another drive pulley powered by a second servo motor operates to move an input web through the machine between chain stiches.

The steps further include generating a plurality of sewing data. Each of the plurality of sewing data is data to form stitches of a plurality of stippling patterns inside the acquired target area. The steps further include associating the sewing data with arrangement information, for each of the plurality of sewing data, and outputting the sewing data and arrangement information that have been associated with each other. The arrangement information indicates an arrangement of each of the stippling patterns to be sewn on the basis of the sewing data.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a composite warm-keeping textile structure includes the steps of: applying an elastic gripper-puffing mechanism to perform puffing operations upon opened cotton fibers for forming at least one puffy fiber agglomerate; applying the elastic gripper-puffing mechanism to grab unit fiber agglomerates from the puffy fiber agglomerate and further to drop the unit fiber agglomerates onto a first cloth layer on an operational platform; vibrating the operational platform to have the unit fiber agglomerates to be evenly distributed over the first cloth layer, so that the unit fiber agglomerates are formed as a fiber agglomerate distribution layer adhered onto the first cloth layer; and, having a second cloth layer to cover the fiber agglomerate distribution layer, so that the first cloth layer and the second cloth layer clamps together the fiber agglomerate distribution layer in between to form the composite warm-keeping textile structure.

    摘要: Improved batting insert materials for quilting are provided herein. The improved batting materials are adapted to be positioned between a quilt top and quilt bottom, and the materials advantageously prevent slippage of quilt layers during stitching without the need for pinning or basting. The insert materials generally comprise a batting layer and a flannel layer secured to the batting layer. The flannel layer is adapted to be positioned abutting the quilt bottom, and it has been discovered that the interaction between the surfaces of these fabrics prevents the layers from slipping. Quilts and methods utilizing the improved batting insert materials are also provided herein.

The insulating-filler layer is a textile fabric with at least one raised surface. One side of the insulating-filler layer comprises a first surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile. The other side of the insulating-filler layer comprises a second surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile. Interconnecting piles are formed with regions of the relatively high pile of the first pile surface and regions of the relatively high pile of the second pile surface.
