Abstract:
An apparatus comprises a tank, an air compressor, and a motor with an output shaft. A fan is mounted on the output shaft. A drive assembly interconnects the motor operatively with the compressor. The apparatus further includes a base structure and a shroud. The base structure is configured to support the compressor, the motor and the drive assembly on the tank. The shroud is configured to cover the compressor, the motor, the drive assembly and the base structure on the tank. The shroud has a cooling air inlet port and a cooling air outlet port. A plurality of internal wall portions of the shroud are configured to direct cooling air to flow over the motor and the compressor upon flowing through the cover from the inlet port to the outlet port under the influence of the fan.

Use for dosing pharmaceutical or cosmetic media. 3. Drawing.
Abstract:
A reciprocating piston compressor having a suction muffler and a pair of discharge mufflers to attenuate noise created by the primary pumping frequency in the primary pumping pulse. The suction muffler is disposed along a suction tube extending between the motor cap and the cylinder head of the compressor. The discharge mufflers are positioned in series within the compressor to receive discharge gases from the compression mechanism and are spaced one quarter of a wavelength from each other so as to sequentially diminish the problematic or noisy frequencies created during compressor operation. The motor/compressor assembly including the motor and compression mechanism is mounted to the interior surface of the compressor housing by spring mounts. These mounted are secured to the housing to define the position of the nodes and anti-nodes of the frequency created in the housing to reduce noise produced by natural frequencies during compressor operation.
Abstract:
A floating pump assembly including a compact floatation assembly structured to float on a body of water and supporting a flow pump housing having an inlet, outlet and fluid drive assembly being submerged and wherein at least the outlet is oriented in a predetermined, preferably horizontal orientation during operation and activation. A power assembly is supported on the floatation assembly and is drivingly connected to the fluid drive assembly for powered operation thereof. The predetermined orientation of at least the outlet and particularly the direction of discharge of water issuing from the outlet substantially is such as to eliminate or at least minimize the tendency of the floatation device to become disoriented or unstable at least in terms of being increasingly submerged into a deeper position within the body of water upon activation and operation of the floating pump assembly.
Abstract:
A hand pump comprises a cylinder defining a chamber therein, a reciprocating member having a first end slidably received in the chamber of the cylinder and a second end extended beyond the first end of the cylinder, and a head mounted to the second end of the cylinder and including an engaging portion for engaging with a valve of an object to be inflated. A handle is attached to the second end of the reciprocating member rod and includes a first arcuate recess for engaging with a seat tube of a bicycle. An attaching member is mounted to the head and includes a second arcuate recess for engaging with a head tube of the bicycle. The attaching member and the head are movable relative to each other along a longitudinal direction of the cylinder.
Abstract:
A compressor is capable of reducing vibration and noise produced during a discharge of compressed refrigerant through a discharge line tube. The discharge line tube of the compressor has a bent portion to reduce vibration and noise when the compressed refrigerant is discharged into a discharge pipe. The compressor includes an elastic member having hooks formed on both ends thereof, for generating a predetermined tension while being supported on the bent portion of the discharge line tube on two locations. Since vibration and noise can be reduced significantly, appliances that require the compressor as an essential element can provide optimum environment to users.
Abstract:
An air pump for a fish-tank comprises a compartmental air chamber assembly formed by a base plate and a casing in the body. Hence, an indirect prolonged air path is formed in the air chamber assembly, resulting in a great reduction of noise generated while operating.
Abstract:
