The toothed disk freewheel includes a pair of engagement components cooperating with one another, each having at least one axial toothing. The axial toothings are biased to an engaging position via a biasing device. The biasing device is configured as a pulling force device which pulls both axial toothings together.

The magnetic coupling assembly includes a first and second rotary hub, a sleeve, coaxial with the first rotary hub and arranged to be rotatable with respect to the first rotary hub, a first and second displacement element threadingly connected to the sleeve, and a first and a second rotatable inductor rotor arranged to co-rotate with the rotation of the first rotary hub. The first and second rotatable inductor rotors are connected to the first and second displacement element, respectively, and rotatable central magnet rotor. The sleeve includes threaded outer surfaces of opposite threading engaged by the first and second displacement elements so as to displace the first and second displacement elements in opposite directions.

    摘要: A magnetically hinged, overrunning clutch is disclosed. Sprags containing rare-earth permanent magnets, and arranged in pairs of opposite magnetic orientation, are located within the gap between the inner surface of a hollow, circularly cylindrical shaft and the external surface of a smaller diameter, second circularly cylindrical shaft. Pairs of rare-earth permanent magnets encircling the second cylindrical shaft are located at, or just beneath, the surface of the shaft and are arranged in pairs having alternating magnetic orientation. The sprags are cylinders having a pseudo-spiral cross-section and are sized, and the ferromagnetic region located, such that when the sprags are attracted to the shaft-magnets, the first shaft may be rotated with respect to the second shaft in a first, overrunning direction of rotation, but the first shaft does not rotate with respect to the second shaft in an opposite, or lock-up direction.

    摘要: A unidirectional clutch device has a driving board, multiple permanent magnets, and multiple clutching elements. The driving board has an axle hole and multiple holding recesses. The holding recesses are defined in the driving board and are arranged around and communicate with the axle hole. Each holding recess has a long end having a radial width and a narrow end having a radial width smaller than that of the long end. The permanent magnets are mounted on the driving board and are located at positions adjacent to the narrow ends of the holding recesses. The clutching elements are rotatably mounted respectively in the holding recesses and are made of a magnetically conductive material. Each clutching element is moveable in a corresponding one of the holding recesses toward the narrow end of the corresponding holding recess by an attraction of a corresponding one of the permanent magnets.

    摘要: Device and apparatus for controlling the operating mode of a coupling assembly, coupling and control assembly and electric motor disconnect and pass through assemblies are provided. The device is a switchable linear actuator device to control the operating mode of a coupling assembly. A plurality of magnetic sources produce corresponding magnetic fields to create a net translational force. A stator structure includes at least one electromagnetic source and a translator structure includes a permanent magnet source magnetically coupled to the stator structure across a radial air gap. The translator structure is supported for translational movement relative to the stator structure along an axis between first and second stable axial end positions which correspond to first and second operating modes of the coupling assembly and an unstable axial equilibrium position between the end positions. The translator structure translates along the axis between the different positions upon experiencing the net translational force.

    摘要: The invention relates to a kinetic energy accumulator, comprising a plurality of rotatably mounted accumulator members (100, 198) positioned adjacent one another, an input drive mechanism (116) arranged to impart rotational drive to a first of the accumulator members, and velocity responsive coupling members (106, 192) arranged to provide for magnetic coupling of successive ones of the accumulator members when respective ones of the accumulator members are caused successively to rotate with an angular velocity equal to, or greater than, a predetermined velocity. The accumulator can store kinetic energy and thereby act as source of rotational drive. Hence, there is also provided a kinetic energy transfer system, comprising the kinetic energy accumulator (118), an energy transmitter mechanism arranged to apply drive from a kinetic energy source to the input drive mechanism (116) of the energy accumulator; and a load device coupled to, and arranged to be driven by, the energy accumulator when each of the accumulator members is rotating with an angular velocity equal to, or greater than, the predetermined velocity. The load device can be an electric generator or other device.
