    摘要: A pumping system is configured for deployment in a non-vertical wellbore. The pumping system includes a plurality of articulating components. Each of the plurality of articulating components is connected to an adjacent other of the plurality of articulating components with an articulating joint. In preferred embodiments, the articulating joint is a ball-and-socket mechanism. The articulating components include a body having a first end and a second end, a ball connected to the first end the body and a socket connected to the second end of the body. A locking collar is connected to the socket to secure the ball portion of an adjacent articulating component to the socket.

    摘要: Some embodiments include a novel power transmission joint system that is low in cost and can withstand extended wear. The power transmission joint system has several components including a drive cup, a drive shaft pin, and a large contact area between the drive cup and the drive shaft pin. The drive shaft pin is a pivoting pin that provides a second pivot axis to reduce wear on the system. The large contact area is larger than a corresponding contact area of an existing low-cost pinned drive shaft, drive cup system. The large contact area significantly reduces pressure on the system. The power transmission joint system can withstand extended wear and tear.

    摘要: A torque transmission device, for driving or in drives of agricultural implements or self-propelled working machines, has a coupling (6) with a coupling housing (7) including a connection plate (10) and a coupling hub (8). Torque transmission elements (9) are positioned between the two in at least one rotational direction for transmitting a torque between the two. A driving member (20) defines a longitudinal axis (14). The driving member (20) is provided with distributedly arranged second driving elements (22) around the circumference of and radially projecting from a driving member portion (21). Gaps (23) are formed in a circumferential direction between the second driving elements (22). A support plate (12) is present on which the driving member (20) is rotationally supported around the longitudinal axis (14). First driving elements (15), as distance holders, retain the support plate (12) at an axial distance to the connection plate (10) on the coupling housing (7). A space (17) is formed between the driving member (20) and the connection plate (10). The driving member portion (21) of the driving member (20) is received in the space (17). The first driving elements (15) engage driving member (22) in the gaps (23) in a circumferential direction around the longitudinal axis (14) with a limited rotational free motion in reference to the connection plate (10).

    摘要: A constant velocity joint (10) is provided specifically for connecting a yoke (14) to a mast (12) in a helicopter and more generally (200) for interconnecting a first shaft (202) to a second shaft (204) for bidirectional drive. The constant velocity joint employs a carrier (40, 218) which is formed with a series of apertures for receiving elastomeric bearing assemblies (42, 80, 220). The elastomeric bearing assemblies are provided with a spherical elastomeric bearing (60) and a cylindrical elastomeric bearing (48). Certain of the elastomeric bearing assemblies connect the carrier to one of the rotating members while the remaining elastomeric bearing assemblies connect the other rotating member to the carrier. The axis of symmetry (67) of the carrier always bisects the angle of misalignment between the two rotating shafts or members to assure that a constant velocity joint is achieved.

    摘要: An equal velocity universal joint is suitable for coupling shafts, driving and driven shafts, of mutual machines and for use in an axial piston pump motor device. One ends driving pins of the equal velocity universal joint rotate along a predetermined locus on a concentric circle while rotating and sliding by themselves in the cylinder bores of the driving or driven shaft. Spherical head portions of the other ends perform rotating motion in cylinder bores or ball receiving bores of the driving or driven shaft. Accordingly, the respective drving pins continue linear sliding motion in response to the rotation of the driving or driven shaft and thereby the spherical head portions of the other ends are held at the concentric circle on the driving or driven shaft so as to keep the driving center in floating state. As a result, the respective pistons are driven on a concentric circle, thereby an equal velocity universal joint is realized and the mechanical vibration thereof is substantially eliminated.

    摘要: A three axis flexure joint is provided which is very stiff against translational forces along its long axis but is operable with three degrees of freedom over small angles with no lost motion. The flexure comprises two spaced metal connectors, which are connected to each other by a wire which runs through the metal connectors along an axis and is integrally joined to each connector, and at least one snubber pin. The snubber pin snugly fits into a bore of one connector of the flexure, the bore being arranged to accept the pin and to be parallel to the wire axis, while in the second connector, the pin has a loose fit in a corresponding hole similarly located. In this manner, the integrity of the connecting wire is maintained as the pins act as stops to rotation if rotation of either connector around any of its axes exceeds a predetermined limit. The flexure is also preferably configured with each connector being a bolt or screw so as to permit easy connection of the flexure to rods and master and slave devices.
