摘要: Computer-implemented method for calculating disease damage payments due to spreaders fault associated to an isolation exemption insurance policy (IEIP). Based upon an assessment of expected disease damages and the share fault of injured and spreaders for not isolating, insurer companies agree a method to computationally gather and store epidemiological data to calculate payments made to and by the Spreaders fund to cover the portion of disease damages suffered by the injured that are fault of spreaders. Whenever a location suffers an infectious disease epidemic with significant presymptomatic contagions, and mandatory isolations are imposed to asymptomatic individuals to reduce spreading, such individuals might be offered an IEIP to avoid those mandatory isolations. The computer-implemented method can be updated over time. The portion of disease damages that is fault of the injured is covered by each insurer.

摘要: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The enhanced claims processing server may submit a signal that locks one or more portions of an application on the mobile device used to submit the photos/videos. The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video. The photos may further be annotated using, for example, a touch screen display. An estimate, such as a cost estimate, may be determined for the damage associated with the insured item based on the photos and/or annotations.

摘要: A method, medium, and apparatus for allowing evaluation of property, such as damaged property, remotely and efficiently. A mobile computing device at the location of the property may be used to transmit video of the property to an adjuster, and to receive video and audio communications from the adjuster. The adjuster may be selected from a queue based on time waiting in the queue and/or a number of other statistics and attributes of the adjuster. The adjuster may converse with an owner of the property and capture video of the property in order to make an appraisal or determine the infeasibility of remote appraisal and the need to instruct another adjuster to perform a physical inspection.

摘要: A system and method for measuring a driver's actual driving behaviors (e.g., acceleration, deceleration) in a manual driving mode to determine their preferred driving style, and then causing an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle to operate itself, within limits, in accordance with the drivers' driving style when operating in a self-driving mode, thereby providing a more familiar and comfortable driving experience for the driver. Data is collected on the actual driving behavior, any pre-existing data is accessed on the actual driving behavior, and the collected data and the pre-existing data are combined. A custom control is then created based upon the combined data, and the custom control is applied to manage the self-driving behavior of the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle in a self-driving mode. Additional data continues to be collected on the actual driving behavior, and the custom control is adjusted based upon the collected additional data.

The vehicle is configured to acquire position information of the vehicle, to acquire driving information of a driver of the vehicle, and to detect occurrence of a traffic accident associated with the vehicle. When a notification of occurrence of a traffic accident is received from the vehicle, the server is configured to calculate a driving skill level of the driver based on the driving information, to store provision information in which the position information of a point at which the traffic accident has occurred is correlated with the driving skill level and the number of times of occurrence of a traffic accident at the point, and to provide the provision information to an insurance company.

The processor may be configured to: (i) generate a plurality of predesignated policy levels having a maximum reimbursement amount for a user based at least in part upon user data, (ii) prompt the user to select a predesignated policy level of the plurality of predesignated policy levels that includes an insurance policy covering one or more item categories up to the associated maximum reimbursement amount, (iii) store the selected predesignated policy level, (iv) receive a claim from the user, (v) determine, in response to the claim and based at least in part upon the selected predesignated policy level and the associated maximum reimbursement amount, an actual reimbursement amount for each insured item category of the one or more item categories, and (vi) provide a payment device to the user having reimbursement controls that provide the actual reimbursement amount by insured item category.
