摘要: Systems and methods for performing multi-factor authentication using a smart ring are disclosed. An exemplary method includes performing a first authentication operation by: collecting, by sensors, gestural data representing a candidate gesture corresponding to ring movement; comparing the candidate gesture to an authentication gesture for a known user; when the candidate gesture matches the authentication gesture, generating a first signal indicating that a particular user has been identified and authenticated as the known user; and transmitting the first signal to a second device, wherein the second device controls access to a resource. The method also includes performing a second authentication operation by detecting contact between the ring and an external component; and generating and transmitting a second signal in response to detecting the contact, and when the second device receives the first and the second signals, causing the second device to grant the particular user access to the resource.

摘要: A smart ring charging system comprises a charging source integrated into an object, the object configured to be held by a user wearing a smart ring. The smart ring may include a ring-shaped housing and a power source disposed within or at the ring-shaped housing and configured to receive energy from the charging source while the user is wearing the smart ring and holding the object. A controller may be disposed within or at the ring-shaped housing, or at the object with the charger and configured to estimate a charging rate at which the power source receives the energy from the charging source. The system may further include one or more indicators configured to indicate the charging rate.

摘要: A distracted driving analysis system for identifying distracted driving events is provided. The system includes a processor in communication with a memory device, and the processor is programmed to: (i) receive labeled training data, the labeled training data including driving event records (a) each labeled as an actual distracted driving event or a passenger event and (b) including phone usage by a user that occurred within a time period of a driving event, (ii) identify common features of the actual distracted driving events and the passenger events by processing the training data using a supervised machine learning algorithm, (iii) generate a trained model based at least in part upon the identified common features, (iv) process a new driving event, (v) assign the new driving event based at least in part upon features of the new driving event, and/or (vi) determine whether the new driving event is an actual distracted driving event or a passenger event.

摘要: Method and system for providing vehicle insurance discounts. For example, the method includes receiving a first discount value determined by a user for an insurance policy of a vehicle, applying the first discount value to the insurance policy for a predetermined period of time, collecting driving data associated with trips made by the vehicle during the predetermined period of time, determining a driving behavior of the user based on analyzing the driving data, presenting to the user whether the driving behavior is indicative of the first discount value, analyzing the driving data to determine a second discount value for the insurance policy, and after the predetermined period of time, replacing the first discount value with the second discount value and applying the second discount value to the insurance policy.

摘要: Method and system for generating a hybrid epoch score and driver feedback for a user. In some examples, a computer-implemented method includes: receiving prior telematics data indicative of the operation of a vehicle by the user during one or more prior trips in a prior epoch; receiving recent telematics data indicative of the operation of the vehicle by the user during one or more recent trips in a current epoch; generating a prior epoch score based at least in part upon the prior telematics data; generating a partial current epoch score based at least in part upon the recent telematics data; generating a hybrid current epoch score based at least in part upon the prior epoch score and the partial current epoch score; generating a driver feedback based at least in part upon the hybrid current epoch score; and presenting the driver feedback to the user via a display.

摘要: Method and system for evaluating vehicle insurance claims. For example, the method includes collecting pre-accident images of a vehicle before one or more accidents, collecting telematics data of the vehicle during the one or more accidents, determining predicted post-accident images of the vehicle based upon the pre-accident images and the telematics data after the one or more accidents, receiving submitted post-accident images for vehicle insurance claims associated with the vehicle, comparing the predicted post-accident images with the submitted post-accident images, and determining whether frauds have been committed in the vehicle insurance claims based upon the comparison of the predicted post-accident images with the submitted post-accident images.
