摘要: An electronic device may include an antenna disposed on a substrate. The antenna may include a ring of conductive traces, a fed arm, and an unfed arm. The fed arm and the unfed arm may extend from opposing segments of the ring. The ring may be coupled to ground by fences of conductive vias extending through the substrate. The first arm may have a first radiating edge. The second arm may have a second radiating edge. The first radiating edge may be separated from the second radiating edge by a gap. The first arm may indirectly feed the second arm via near-field electromagnetic coupling across the gap. The first and second arms may collectively radiate in an ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency band.

摘要: A scalable, high-bandwidth connectivity architecture for portable storage devices and memory modules may utilize EHF communication link chip packages mounted in various two-dimensional and three-dimensional configurations on planar surfaces such as printed circuit boards. Multiple electromagnetic communication links between devices distributed on major faces of card-like devices may be provided with respectively aligned pairs of communication units on each device. Adjacent communication units on a printed circuit board may transmit or receive electromagnetic radiation having different polarization, such as linear or elliptical polarization. Power and communication between communication devices may both be provided wirelessly.

摘要: An electronic device is provided, which includes an FPCB, wherein the FPCB includes a first portion in which an antenna is provided in the form of a patch antenna that overlaps a metal member, a second portion coupled to a connector of the circuit board, and a third portion arranged between the first portion and the second portion. A layered structure of the FPCB may include a dielectric material having a first thickness in the first portion overlapping the metal member and having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness in the second portion and the third portion, a first conductive layer provided in the first direction from the dielectric material, and an intermediate conductive layer provided in a second direction opposite to the first direction, from the dielectric material. The intermediate conductive layer may be provided only in the second portion and the third portion and may not be provided in the first portion. A portion of the dielectric material in the first portion can be arranged to face the metal member.

The antenna includes a feeder and a radiating element connected to the feeder, and further includes: a first notch structure, where the first notch structure is located on a side of the radiating element and is coupled to the radiating element; and a second notch structure, where the second notch structure is located on a side of the first notch structure and far from the radiating element, and an end that is of the second notch structure and that is far from the radiating element is grounded. The first notch structure may be selectively connected to the ground or to the second notch structure.
