    Abstract: A device providing an emergency alert service via a mobile broadcasting according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an RS frame encoder configured to generate an RS frame, which is a 2nd dimensional data frame, in a manner of performing an RS (Reed-Solomon)-CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) encoding on an ensemble comprising a mobile data for a mobile broadcasting service and a service signaling channel containing an access information on the mobile broadcasting service, an RS frame divider configured to divide the generated RS frame into a plurality of RS frame portions, a signaling encoder configured to generate a signaling data comprising a TPC (Transmission Parameter Channel) for signaling a transmission parameter of the mobile broadcasting and a MC (Fast Information Channel) containing a connection information between the ensemble and the broadcasting service, a data group formatter configured to generate a data group containing a part of the signaling data and the RS frame portion, and a broadcasting signal generating unit configured to generate a mobile broadcasting signal containing the data group.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for supporting hybrid broadcasting in a digital broadcasting system. The present invention provides an apparatus for receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks. The apparatus comprises a broadcast network interface for receiving a broadcast stream including a first portion of the broadcast content via a broadcast network; a heterogeneous network interface for receiving a heterogeneous stream including a second portion of the broadcast content via a heterogeneous network; and wherein the broadcast stream further includes timeline reference signaling information containing metadata for synchronizing streams transmitted via the one or more networks, and wherein the timeline reference signaling information includes at least one timeline reference information reconstituting timeline of at least one of the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream, a processor for configuring the broadcast content using the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream based on the timeline reference signaling information. The present invention is effective in easily synchronizing transport streams transmitted through each of heterogeneous networks.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a 360-degree video data processing method performed by a 360-degree video transmission apparatus, the method comprising: obtaining 360-degree video data captured by at least one image obtaining device; deriving a two-dimensional (2D) picture comprising omnidirectional image by processing the 360-degree video data; generating metadata for the 360-degree video data; encoding information on the 2D picture; and performing encapsulation based on the encoded picture and the metadata, wherein the metadata comprises information on viewpoint group ID, and wherein multiple-viewpoints related to the 360-degree video data are categorized into at least one viewpoint group based on the viewpoint group ID.
