    摘要: An apparatus and method can test multiple signal channels of a digital video recorder (DVR). Image data are obtained from a storage device and converted the image data to a video signal. The DVR sends the video signal to an image distributor, and generates a selection command to a controller for controlling the image distributor to select a signal channel to be tested. After the video signal is received from the DVR, the image distributor sends the video signal to the selected signal channel. An ID number of the selected signal channel is displayed on a display device when the DVR does not receive the video signal from the selected video channel.

    摘要: A noise suppression apparatus and method for recorded luminance signals in which a level of an FM signal from the recording medium is detected, and the level of the recovered chroma signal is detected, the luminance signal is bandpass filtered and limited. A subtraction signal is generated based on the filtered and limited luminance signal and having magnitude based on the detected level of at least one of the chroma signal and the FM signal. The subtraction signal is subtracted from the luminance signal to generate a noise suppressed luminance signal. The passband of the bandpass filter may be varied based on at least one of the chroma signal and the FM signal.

    摘要: A serial digital video data analyzer combines a co-processor capable of handling the serial digital video data stream bit rate with a microprocessor operating at a slower bit rate. The co-processor includes a video feature detection/decision module that identifies specified errors or features from the serial digital video data stream and freezes the portion of the serial digital video data stream around such feature/error in a video data store. The co-processor may also insert a cursor into the serial digital video data stream prior to display on a monitor to indicate the position of indicated errors. The acquired serial digital video data is transferred to the microprocessor for an initial determination as to whether further processing is required. If further processing is required, the results are displayed as a report and the microprocessor interacts with the co-processor to acquire additional data needed for processing or to indicate that the processing is completed and the co-processor should continue its feature detection/decision process. In this way any desired analysis of the serial digital video data stream may be performed.

    摘要: A digital time base corrector uses a memory with a reduced storage capacity, to reduce the cost. Absolute value data of an amplitude and polarity data of a burst signal in a color video signal are written into a memory every horizontal scan period. A signal in which a sync signal interval, a pedestal level interval, and a burst signal interval in the color video signal are eliminated is written as image data into the memory. The absolute value data, polarity data, and image data are read out from the memory. Burst signal data is reproduced on the basis of the absolute value data and polarity data. By inserting the burst signal data, sync signal data, and pedestal level data into the image data, a color video signal is reproduced.

An output signal of the change point sensing circuit and the gate pulse are inputted to an AND gate so that a trigger prohibition signal is obtained. The trigger prohibition signal and the output signal of the change point sensing circuit are inputted to a NOR gate so that a trigger pulse corresponding only to a normal change point of the DPSK signal is generated, so that DPSK modulation data is obtained.
