摘要: In a vehicle control method, when drive force which a second electric motor is requested to output increases in a state where an internal combustion engine is stopped, drive force which the second electric motor outputs by using electric power supplied by a battery is limited to a lower level than maximum drive force determined from electric power which can be supplied by the battery to drive an electric-powered vehicle. Then, the drive force which the second electric motor outputs by using the electric power supplied by the battery is increased over time in a period from when the second electric motor outputs the drive force limited to the lower level to when the internal combustion engine is fired up and a first electric motor starts power generation.

摘要: A display method for a hybrid vehicle includes displaying an engine icon representing the engine, a battery icon representing the battery, and a flow icon representing an energy flow between the engine icon and the battery icon on a display unit in accordance with a driving state of the hybrid vehicle. The display method includes displaying the flow icon in a display mode indicating that there is the energy flow between the engine and the battery when the battery is charged. The display method includes displaying the engine icon in a first display mode when the engine is stopped, displaying the engine icon in a second display mode when the engine is operated at engine rotation speed equal to or lower than reference rotation speed, and displaying the engine icon in a third display mode when the engine rotation speed is higher than the reference rotation speed.

摘要: An information output device is provided, which includes a request acquisition unit that acquires a maintenance request for a vehicle; a user information acquisition unit that acquires information regarding each of a plurality of users; a message generator that generates a message associated with the maintenance request acquired by the request acquisition unit; and a message output unit that outputs the message generated by the message generator. The user information acquisition unit acquires maintenance records of the vehicle that are records of maintenance executed for the vehicle by the plurality of users. The message generator selects a presentation destination user to be presented with the message and generates the message based on a maintenance record of the presentation destination user among the maintenance records of the vehicle. The maintenance record of the presentation destination user is a record of the maintenance executed by the presentation destination user.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission includes an electric oil pump disposed in an oil passage between primary and secondary pulley oil chambers. An oil passage switching valve is disposed between the oil pump and the primary pulley oil chamber. The oil passage switching valve switches between a first switching position in which the primary pulley oil chamber and the oil pump are connected, and a second switching position in which the primary pulley oil chamber and the oil pump are disconnected and in which the oil pump and an oil passage connecting an oil reservoir and the oil passage switching valve are connected. In addition, the continuously variable transmission includes a discharge mechanism having a leak valve disposed in the oil passage between the electric oil pump and the oil passage switching valve for discharging oil that is discharged from the oil pump towards the primary pulley oil chamber.

摘要: A method controls a power transmission device including a continuously variable transmission, an electric oil pump provided in a first oil passage connecting primary and secondary pulley oil chambers of the continuously variable transmission, and a switching valve provided at a branch point between the first oil passage and a second oil passage that branches from the first oil passage between the electric oil pump and the primary pulley oil chamber and that is connected to an oil reservoir. A third oil passage branches from the first oil passage between the electric oil pump and the secondary pulley oil chamber. The method makes a magnitude of a hydraulic pressure difference between the third oil passage and the first oil passage one the side of the primary pulley oil chamber smaller than a prescribed threshold value when the switching valve switches between a first position and a second position.

摘要: An electronic component housing that internally houses an electronic component includes a portion formed of a resin material and a portion formed of a metallic material. The portion formed of the resin material is a connection side portion opposed to a member as a connection partner of the electronic component housing, or an opposite portion opposed to the connection side portion. The electronic component housing further includes an electromagnetic shield member that covers an outer surface of the portion formed of the resin material.

摘要: A heat shield component includes a substrate, and a heat shield film arranged on the substrate. The heat shield film includes a first layer arranged on the substrate, including pores, and having a thermal conductivity of 0.3 W/(m·K) or less and a volumetric specific heat of 1200 kJ/(m3·K) or less, and a second layer arranged on the first layer to provide closed pores between the first layer and the second layer. The heat shield film has a surface roughness on a top surface which is 1.5 μm Ra or less. The heat shield component can achieve high heat-insulating properties and an improved effect of reducing the emission amount of hydrocarbon in an internal combustion engine, for example.

摘要: An object recognition method uses a sensor configured to acquire a position of an object existing in a surrounding environment as point clouds including a plurality of detection points in a top view. The method includes: grouping point clouds according to a proximity; determining, when performing polygon approximation on the grouped point clouds, whether at least part of the detection points constituting the grouped point clouds are located in a blind zone of an approximate polygon acquired by the polygon approximation with respect to the sensor; recognizing the grouped point clouds as point clouds corresponding to plural objects when it is determined that the detection points are located in the blind zone with respect to the sensor; and recognizing the grouped point clouds as point clouds corresponding to a single object of the approximate polygon when it is determined that the detection points are not located in the blind zone.

摘要: An under-floor catalyst (33) includes a GPF (41) capable of trapping fine exhaust particles in exhaust gas, and a downstream-side catalyst (42) positioned on the downstream side of GPF (41). GPF (41) can be supplied with secondary air. When an internal combustion engine (10) is stopped during travel, the secondary air is supplied to GPF (41) in which the fine exhaust particles are accumulated. At this time, the temperature of GPF (41) is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature. Thus, a deterioration in the exhaust gas purification performance of under-floor catalyst (33) at the time of the start of internal combustion engine (10) can be suppressed.
