Abstract: A communication method and apparatus the method including generating indication information, and sending the indication information to a terminal, wherein the indication information indicates to the terminal to activate a first frequency domain resource pair comprising an uplink frequency domain resource and a downlink frequency domain resource, wherein the uplink frequency domain resource is associated with the downlink frequency domain resource, wherein the uplink frequency domain resource and the downlink frequency domain resource have a same center frequency, wherein the uplink frequency domain resource and the downlink frequency domain resource are bandwidth parts on a carrier, wherein the bandwidth parts each have a bandwidth that is smaller than a bandwidth of the carrier, and wherein the first frequency domain resource pair is in a deactivated state when the indication information is sent.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data processing method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a first device, control information, where the control information includes information about a first resource and information about a HARQ process; receiving, by the first device on a second resource, data associated with the control information; and placing the data into a buffer of a HARQ process of a HARQ entity associated with the first resource. The associated data is sent on the plurality of resources. The initially transmitted data and the retransmitted data are stored in the buffer of the specified process of the specified HARQ entity according to an indication of the control information, to improve a decoding success rate.

Abstract: This application provides a resource configuration method, a terminal, and a network device. Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method and apparatus for determining a transport block size. The method includes: obtaining a target overhead value based on a target time-frequency resource and one or more of at least two overhead values, where the target time-frequency resource is used for uplink data transmission or downlink data transmission and includes one or more time-frequency resource units, and each overhead value is corresponding to at least one time-frequency resource unit; and determining a transport block size based on the target overhead value. It can be learned that, according to the method and apparatus for determining a transport block size provided in the embodiments of this application, a corresponding target overhead value may be determined for each of different target time-frequency resources. This is not only applicable to a scenario in which a dynamic time-frequency resource is scheduled, but also improves accuracy of determining the transport block size. Therefore, transmission performance is improved.

Abstract: The middle subcarrier of the baseband OFDM signal of each numerology may need to be shifted appropriately with respect to other numerologies to comply with a nested grid. These shifts can be signalled to the UE with an associated overhead. Methods and systems are provided to reduce overhead for OFDM communication. Reduced overhead can translate into increased bandwidth for the system, and/or reduced power/battery consumption in the UE. A transmitter generates an OFDM signal associated with a first subcarrier spacing of a first numerology (μ), a middle subcarrier frequency of a set of usable resource blocks (RBs) of the first numerology being offset from a carrier frequency by a first offset having a value (k0,xμ) in units of subcarriers, the value of the first offset being defined by a specific formula. The transmitter transmits the OFDM signal according to the first subcarrier spacing and the first offset.

According to the solutions provided in the embodiments, a resource utilization rate of a communications system is improved, and interference between carriers is avoided.

Abstract: This application provides a sidelink resource configuration method and apparatus. The method includes: configuring, by a network device, sidelink bandwidth part (SL BWP) configuration information for a terminal device, where the SL BWP configuration information is used to indicate a common first parameter of M resource pools in the SL BWP; and configuring, by the terminal device, the M resource pools in the SL BWP based on the SL BWP configuration information in a process of configuring the resource pools in the SL BWP, where the M resource pools have at least one same parameter, and the at least one parameter is determined based on the first parameter. Therefore, communication between different terminal devices can be implemented by configuring the resource pools in the SL BWP.
