摘要： An instant book binding system and book cover for rapidly binding single- or double-sided documents, photographs, pages, and other forms of hardcopy media into soft or hard cover books is disclosed. The book binding method using the book cover or system can be performed without special skills or training, and does not require the use of ancillary equipment. The book cover system can be used in conjunction with output on a wide variety of media types, finishes, and stock weights from any type of printer or copier, or with photographs. The finished books retain the appearance and function of conventional mass produced soft and hard covered books.

摘要： An accessory is provided for use with an image capture device is provided. The accessory has a trigger button and an image capture system adapted to capture an image in response to actuation of the trigger button. The accessory also has a body adapted to be detachably connectable to the image capture device with the body including, a holding unit for receiving a removable metadata source having metadata stored therein; a communication interface for communicating with the removable metadata source; and a trigger sensor for generating a trigger signal when the trigger button of said image capture device is depressed. The communication interface obtains metadata from the removable metadata source in response to the trigger signal and stores the metadata in a metadata memory so that the metadata is associated with the captured image.

摘要： A charging display system and method for operating a display system are provided with the method comprising sensing the presence of a wirelessly rechargeable device proximate to or on a surface through which a presentation area of a display can present image information; identifying a type of the wirelessly rechargeable device; obtaining device representation having features that are related to a portion of the presentation area that can be occupied by the presence of the identified type of rechargeable device; determining a position and orientation of the rechargeable device proximate to or on the surface; and segmenting the presentation area into a wirelessly rechargeable device portion and a graphic presentation portion outside of the determined of the rechargeable device portion. A wireless power signal is transmitted through the rechargeable device portion and graphic information related to the rechargeable device is displayed in the graphic presentation portion.

摘要： An apparatus and method for automatically folding a sheet of media, for example, a photographic paper about a fold line, such that a album page is formed. The photosensitive media has images only on one side. A heat activated adhesive sheet is provided between the sides of the photographic paper during folding. The adhesive sheet when exposed to heated and pressure rollers, will cause the sides of the photographic media to be secured to form a single album page.

摘要： An image capture and display device includes an electronic motion image camera for capturing the image of a subject located in front of the image display device and a digital projector for projecting the captured image. An optical element provides a common optical axis electronic camera and the digital electronic camera, and a light valve projection screen electronically switchable between a transparent state and a frosted state, is located with respect to the common optical axis for allowing the electronic camera to capture the image of the subject through the projection screen when in the transparent state and for displaying the captured image on the projection screen when in the frosted state. A controller connected to the electronic camera, the digital projector, and the light valve projection screen alternately places the projection screen in the transparent state and causes the electronic camera to capture an image, and places the projection screen in the frosted state and causes the digital projector to display the captured image on the projection screen.
