Disclosed are antibodies that bind to Prominin-1 and have ADCC activity and/or CDC activity, and pharmaceutical compositions containing those antibodies. Recombinant antibodies were produced by cloning a nucleotide sequence of the AC133 antibody variable region and it was discovered that the ADCC/CDC-inducing effect which does not exist in the original AC133 antibody is imparted to the recombinant antibodies. In the human chimeric antibody/human effector cell combination, the chimeric antibody whose constant region sequence had been converted to human IgG1/κ was found to induce strong ADCC. Humanized antibodies were prepared by grafting the AC133 antibody CDRs to a human antibody sequence, producing humanized antibodies having binding activities equivalent to the activity of the chimeric antibody. Also disclosed are unlabeled AC133 human chimeric antibodies and humanized antibodies having antitumor effects.

An information output device includes a touch panel chassis having a touch panel with a medium on which a coordinate value based on a predetermined rule and a dot pattern signifying a code value are printed. The medium is placed on the touch panel with a surface on which the dot pattern is printed facing the touch panel. The device includes a coordinate recognition unit for recognizing a position on the medium of the touch panel. The device also includes an imaging unit for imaging via an imaging portion disposed on a predetermined location in the touch panel chassis. The device further includes a control unit for computing the coordinate value, the code value, and an orientation signified by the dot pattern and for inputting coordinate information from the coordinate recognition unit of the touch panel. The encoder module is configured to generate a Hamming code from the input data, in accordance with a check matrix having a specific regularity. The decoder module is configured to detect an error position in the output data composed of the Hamming code, in accordance with the check matrix. The transposing module is configured to perform a transposing process of transposing some of the columns of the check matrix, while maintaining the regularity of the check matrix, and to change the error position in accordance with the transposing process, during the decoding process.

The handwriting input board includes: a display panel provided with a writing area in which dot patterns, in which coordinates and/or code values are repeatedly defined, are arranged; and a scanner pen which can be used to draw on or touch the display panel to draw a trail. The scanner pen includes: an optical reading unit that optically reads the dot pattern provided on the display panel; and a dot code analysis unit. When the scanner pen is used to draw on or touch the display panel, the scanner pen sequentially images the dot pattern, the dot code analysis unit analyzes the dot pattern and outputs coordinates and/or code values, and a trail is displayed visibly on the display panel. An objective of the present invention is to facilitate the acquisition of antibody-producing cells that are infiltrating virus-infected cells, cancer cells, abnormal cells forming a benign hyperplasia, and the like, and to improve the efficiency of the production of antibodies as well as nucleic acids encoding them from the antibody-producing cells.The present inventors discovered that, when cancer tissues comprising infiltrating lymphocytes are transplanted into highly immunodeficient animals that do not have T cells, B cells, and NK cells and further exhibit a low IFN production ability, the differentiation and proliferation of infiltrating lymphocytes are unexpectedly promoted, and the number of plasma cells that produce antibodies recognizing cancer tissues increases dramatically, plasma cells can be separated easily, and antibodies or nucleic acids encoding them can be easily prepared from the plasma cells.
