    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating a sequence-based signal in a frequency spectrum are provided. A first wireless communication device obtains a configuration for communicating a sequence-based signal in the frequency spectrum. The configuration indicates resources in a frequency spectrum and a frequency distribution mode of the resources. The first wireless communication device communicates the sequence-based signal with a second wireless communication device in the frequency spectrum based on the configuration. The sequence-based signal includes at least one of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) signal or a physical random access channel (PRACH) signal. The frequency distribution mode indicates at least one of a frequency interlaced structure, a frequency comb structure, or a frequency mini-interlaced structure.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for cross-carrier scheduling for wireless devices. In an example, a wireless device may monitor a control channel on a first carrier of a plurality of carriers to obtain a grant allocating resources to the wireless device within a shared data channel. In some cases, a time duration between the grant and the allocated resources within the shared data channel is based at least in part on which carrier of the plurality of carriers transports the shared data channel. The wireless device may transmit or receive over the shared data channel using the allocated resources and based at least in part on the time duration.

    Abstract: Beam-specific autonomous uplink (AUL) resources may be configured with an associated reference signal for beam management. For example, a base station may configure respective sets of AUL resources that are specific to one or more base station receive beams. These sets of beam-specific AUL resources may be configured to be associated (e.g., quasi co-located (QCL)) with a reference signal, such as a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), a synchronization signal burst (SSB), or the like. The base station may periodically transmit the reference signals that are associated with the AUL resources. A user equipment (UE), upon detecting one or more of the reference signals, may identify which set of AUL resources are available for an AUL transmission of uplink data. In such cases, the UE may select a set of AUL resources based on a signal strength of the reference signal associated with that set of AUL resources.
