Device for conveying objects, includes a rotating support having a transfer arm which consists of a plate and a gripper head which can bear at least one object and which is slidingly mounted in relation to the plate according to a direction. The gripper head (20) is coupled to a slider sliding in a slide rail fixed to the plate, and including a first and second cam system in order to respectively slidingly drive the gripper head and to pivotingly drive the plate, according to the angular position of the arm around the axis of rotation of the support. The slider is constructed as a single part which has an overall rail shape, and the profile of the slider is complementary with respect to the profile of the slide rail. The gripper head is fixed such that it overhangs on the distal end section of the slider.

An upstream side wheel Ha including grippers B which do not perform opening and closing operations for themselves, and a downstream side wheel Hb including grippers A each having an opening and closing mechanism are included, and in a delivery position in which both the wheels are adjacent to each other, a plastic bottle 1 is delivered from the gripper B to the gripper A. Here, if the upstream side wheel or the downstream side wheel abnormally stops, control means controls retreating means C provided at the downstream side wheel to switch the grippers A to a retreat state from a use state to make an opening degree of a first and second grip members 23 and 24 of each of the grippers A larger than an opening degree of both the grip members in the use state. Thereby, interference of the plastic bottles gripped by the upstream side grippers and the first and second grip members can be prevented. Even if one of the wheels abnormally stops, the other wheel can be continuously operated without increasing the equipment in size.

A container transport system can have adjustable neck guides coupled along a container transport line and a neck guide positioning system operably coupled thereto. The neck guide positioning system can move the neck guides relative to the container transport line in correspondence with shapes of containers. The neck guides can extend continuously along the container transport line.

A device for dynamic storage of objects along a conveying section between an input station and an output station with an endless, flexible conveying means, which is variably subdivided into a conveying strand and an idle strand, with at least one carriage, which can be moved in the plane of conveyance, for changing the storage capacity, which carriage presents a first deflection for the conveying strand and a second deflection for the idle strand, as well as with a first drive device for the conveying means in the area of the input station and a second drive device for the conveying means in the area of the output station. The conveying means is provided over its entire length at identical intervals with grippers for the objects and the conveying means has a link chain, equipped with rotatable guide rollers, which runs at least in some areas in at least one stationary guide rail, where at least one guide roller is arranged on the respective chain link in a movable manner.

A manipulator robot for handling objects and in particular bottles. It includes a body whereon are fitted equipment items for gripping the bottles and the lower part of the body includes slide-shaped devices connecting the body and the ramps whereon is arranged the equipment items. Fast fixing devices are also interposed between the body and each ramp to facilitate changing the ramps. The ramps may include all sorts of equipment items such as pneumatic bell-shaped gripping heads or handling suckers and/or claw systems for handling cartons.

A conveyor suitable for conveying objects along a transport direction, and a related link are disclosed. The link may include a link body having a length extending across the direction of transport and a width extending along the direction of transport, each link body having a conveying surface. At least one gripping member is movably secured to the link body and has a gripping arm extendable from the conveying surface of the link body. Each gripping member is moveable between a first opened position and a second gripping position. The gripping arm is located so as to be able to contact one of the objects when the gripping member is in the second position to hold the object relative to the link body during transport. Various options for link designs are disclosed, including slidable and/or pivotable designs.

Device (1) is suitable to be used on a chain conveyor. A method for using device (1) is also provided.
