摘要： A particularly simple construction is intended for a packaging container for bulk material, in particular a sack or bag made of a plastic film with at least one container wall which encloses the bulk material, which comprises a multilayer venting region extending in the longitudinal direction of the container and consisting of at least one inner layer and one outer layer, wherein the venting region has at least one inner and outer opening, wherein the inner openings are designed as apertures in a strip-shaped surface region of the inner layer of the venting region, wherein the surface region extends over at least a portion of the direction of extent of the venting region, and wherein the at least one outer opening is formed in a joining seam laterally limiting the venting region, wherein a shielding element inside the venting region is associated with the outer opening in the joining seam for the deliberate diversion of at least a partial flow of the air flow passing through the venting region. This is achieved as a result of the venting region having just one chamber in which the shielding element separates the inner and outer openings from each other and the shielding element has a length that is between 10% and 50% of the overall length of the venting region.

An embodiment includes applying a head part to a first end of a sheet-material bag filled with a composition, where the head part has an outlet channel for the composition, opening the sheet-material bag, and closing the outlet channel. The opening and the closing take place prior to the initial use of the sheet-material container in the dispensing unit. A sheet-material container for a dispensing unit is also disclosed. An embodiment includes a sheet-material bag which is filled with a composition and a head part which accommodates a first end of the sheet-material bag. The head part has an outlet channel for the composition. The sheet-material bag is open on the first end and the outlet channel of the head part is closed by a closure part, which can be opened or removed by a user.

摘要： Compressible reclosable storage containers (e.g., pouches) having a one-way valve disposed along the bottom of the container. In one configuration, the reclosable pouch comprises a receptacle having a storage chamber and a mouth in communication with the storage chamber, and an airtight closure for closing the mouth. The receptacle comprises two walls made of thermoplastic web material, two side seals that include respective marginal portions of the two walls, and a vent that extends from one side seal to the other. The vent comprises a multiplicity of collapsible channels, each channel comprising a respective air inlet in flow communication with the storage chamber and a respective air outlet in flow communication with space external to the pouch. The channels may be formed by a series of zigzag or wave-shaped heat seals or heat seals have other shapes.

摘要： An insert assembly for a fitment used with a pouch containing a liquid product producing an off-gas is provided. The assembly includes a vented insert for use with the vented fitment allowing the off-gas to pass there through. A carrier is configured to be attached to the vented insert and includes a liquid impermeable membrane attach to the carrier and fluid coupled to the fitment and insert to allow gas from the product to pass there through. The membrane, which can comprise an EPTFE material allows the gas to pass through, while preventing the liquid product from passing through a wall of the pouch. The insert assembly can be selectively opened and closed to allow or prevent the off-gas produced by the product to pass through the assembly as needed to reduce the pressure within the pouch or container.
