Abstract: The present disclosure provides a splash guard to minimize potential contact between the chemical product and a vent membrane during transport and/or transfer of containers, thereby resulting in preservation of the integrity of a vent membrane during transport and/or transfer of a chemical product. The splash guard is affixed to the fitment and so can be removed from the interior of the container prior to transfer of the chemical product out of the container. The splash guard may be used with fitments of varied shapes, sizes and/or structures, and with containers of varied shapes, sizes and/or structures. The splash guard is easy and inexpensive to manufacture and easy to install, e.g., by snapping onto a ring (lower perimeter) of a fitment. For example, the splash guard covers the entire circumference of the neck of a container, and is formed of a moldable material that provides rigidity.

Abstract: A wipe dispenser for use in metering out consistent doses of a composition onto a disposable wipe includes a mixing and dispensing assembly. The assembly has a vessel holding a first liquid for the composition and a first pump to convey the first liquid. A bottle having a second pump to convey a second liquid of the composition is stored within the bottle. A funnel arrangement is in downstream communication with the first pump and second pump. The funnel arrangement includes a mixing chamber for mixing the first and second liquids and a dispensing funnel in communication with and downstream of the mixing chamber. A wipe can be pulled through the dispensing funnel and wetted with a mixture of the first liquid and second liquid from the mixing chamber. A push bar attached to the funnel arrangement can selectively apply the force to actuate the first pump and second pump.

Abstract: An insert assembly for a fitment used with a pouch containing a liquid product producing an off-gas is provided. The assembly includes a vented insert for use with the vented fitment allowing the off-gas to pass there through. A carrier is configured to be attached to the vented insert and includes a liquid impermeable membrane attach to the carrier and fluid coupled to the fitment and insert to allow gas from the product to pass there through. The membrane, which can comprise an EPTFE material allows the gas to pass through, while preventing the liquid product from passing through a wall of the pouch. The insert assembly can be selectively opened and closed to allow or prevent the off-gas produced by the product to pass through the assembly as needed to reduce the pressure within the pouch or container.

Abstract: A chemical reservoir assembly may include a reservoir containing a liquid chemical and a closure sealing off an outlet opening of the reservoir. The closure can include a top wall having an access opening and a sealing disc positioned under the top wall and across the access opening. The sealing disc may include a vent opening positioned under the top wall and offset from the access opening. The sealing disc can be fixedly positioned relative to the top wall and include a compressible material configured to compress in response to a discharge device being inserted into the access opening and pressing against the compressible material. In response to the force of the discharge device, the compressible material can compress to open a venting pathway from the access opening through the at least one vent opening.
