A plurality of display files representing aircraft maintenance processes are generated and linked in a hierarchy. A general level display file defines a number of divisions of aircraft maintenance processes that can include managerial as well as labor related divisions. Linked display files appearing below the general level file in the hierarchy refine the general level divisions until a basic level diagram is reached where the tasks required to perform the aircraft maintenance processes are defined and the input elements for the respective tasks are shown along with output elements. The display files are linked so that selecting items on a diagram causes corresponding lower level diagrams to be displayed. The linked display files representing the aircraft maintenance processes provide graphical information regarding dependencies and relationships between processes that can be used in selectively implementing aircraft maintenance applications across segments of an aircraft maintenance operation.

A method and system for providing improved handling of tractors and trailers )pr any powered vehicle and storage devices towed thereby) with a staging area. One invention relates to the provision of automatic locking or unlocking of a trailer door when the trailer leaves or enters the hub, respectively. A RFID signal strength evaluation scheme is also provided, which monitors successful RFID-to-antennae communications under various weather conditions, in order to determine an optimum read process. Under another embodiment, Geofencing and/or Wi-Fi can be used to trigger various events.
Abstract:
The invention provides a system and method for the autonomous wireless communication between a service provider device and a customer device. The customer device may notify the service provider device whether the customer has work to be performed by the service provider. The service provider device may provide information to the customer about work to be performed by the service provider. In one embodiment, a shipping service is notified autonomously about items that a customer has for pick up and shipment. The shipping service is also capable of wirelessly transferring information to a customer device about items to be delivered to that customer.

The present invention provides a system and method for conducting a management session between a supervisor and an employee or other subordinate. The system utilizes a handheld personal computer that is programmed with multiple supervisory functions, which are displayed in an integrated format to reduce the number of supervisory sessions required for a given employee. The system also provides for the capture and storage of automatic work measurement data, which can be integrated with other work measurement data captured by one or more sensing devices within the employee's workspace, and performance to standards can be reviewed in real time via real-time alerts or at the end of the evaluation.

Methods and systems disclosed herein can be used for testing an application's rendering of output to individual controls of a Graphical User Interface (GUI), displayed on a target device executing the application. A system according to the present invention includes a test tool running on a development computer that communicates with an agent executing on the target device. Testing is performed by using the test tool to execute test scripts, which cause test input to be injected via the agent into the application on the target device. The test tool can validate whether actual output on the target device matches expected output known to the test tool. The present invention includes a variety of key components, such as a flexible trap manager for handling unexpected screens that appear during an automated test, and a configuration manger for testing against multiple languages and platform configurations.

The integrated global shipment system employs a shipment consolidating application for integrating one or more freight tracking systems with one or more end-delivery systems. As a result, shippers are provided with complete visibility of the movement of their shipments of goods from an origin country to a destination country and till the final consignees. In addition, the integrated shipment system significantly decreases the cost of managing inventories by providing a virtual inventory solution. Under this virtual inventory solution, suppliers are able to bypass distribution centers and delay allocation of goods until after the importation of goods into a destination country.

A mail delivery system for facilitating delivery of a plurality of mail pieces sorted into a plurality of containers to a postal service. The mail delivery system includes a mail piece information apparatus for determining information about each of the mail pieces, such as by scanning delivery addresses of the mail pieces. A sorting apparatus associates an identifiers of the containers with mail pieces sorted into the containers. A tracking system tracks the containers through delivery using the container identifiers. Paperless manifests describing the mail pieces in the containers and delivery of the containers to a postal service location are generated by the system by correlating tracking information on the containers with contents information for the containers using the identifier. The mail delivery system is also configured to implement quality control processes and billing using the tracking and manifest information, resulting in time savings and increased billing accuracy.

The present invention is directed to an interface for a return system that allows one or more merchants to funnel their returns processing to a central returns processing system. A merchant may apply its own, possibly unique set of business rules to a customer return request before linking to the interface or, alternatively, the interface may be programmed to apply the respective business rules of the various merchants. In a preferred embodiment, the returns interface maintains the look and feel for each of the various merchant so that the integration between the merchant system and central returns system is transparent to customers.
Abstract:
The present invention involves systems and methods of linking a unique identifier with a package identifier to provide confirmation of the delivery of the package to a certain location or individual. The unique identifier may be associated with a location or an individual. In one embodiment, it is a barcode and the package identifiers are barcodes as well. The barcodes are scanned by a service provider using a hand-held data acquisition and storage device thereby linking the unique identifier to the package identifiers. The information is transferred from the hand-held device to a database where it is used to compile reports for and provide information to the service provider, the shipper, and the recipient of the packages. The invention may be incorporated into an inventory management system such that when confirmation of actual delivery has been received, the recipient will release payment to its vendors.
