Abstract:
In one aspect, a lighting fixture may include a light cover, a base and a power cord. In one embodiment, the light cover is hollow to receive a light bulb and made by crystal salt that can be used to emit negative ions to enhance the user's health. In another embodiment, a connecting plate is secured at a bottom portion of the light cover, and the connecting cover has a plurality of screw holes. The base has a circular operating plate that has a plurality of heat dissipating holes surrounding the operating plate to dissipate the heat generate from the light bulb. The operating plate also has a plurality of screw holes corresponding to the screw holes of the connecting plate, so when the screw holes on the operating plate are aligned with the screw holes on the connecting plate, the screws can be inserted into these screw holes to secure the light cover on the base.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer program products for remote configuration of one or more power supplies, particularly lighting power supplies, are disclosed. A configuration signal that includes a setting for a parameter is generated and then transmitted to a power supply. The power supply decodes the configuration signal and, if one or more certain conditions are met, configures the power supply according to information provided in the configuration signal.
Abstract:
This invention is a fast decision feedback equalizer based on promptly updated channel characteristics to enable ATSC HDTV signal reception in a mobile environment (e.g. in a moving car, walking, on a bus, etc.) by removing the Doppler interference.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a method and device for transmitting and receiving a power headroom report, wherein the method for transmitting a power headroom report comprises: forming, at a user equipment, a power headroom report specific to each carrier component; and transmitting the power headroom report to a base station. By implementing the method and device disclosed by the present application, a complete power headroom reporting mechanism can be provided to a LTE-A system having multiple new features. In addition, by receiving the power headroom report specific to each carrier component, the base station can further derive how many resource units need to be allocated to the user equipment, and a corresponding modulation and coding scheme so as to perform an effective resource scheduling and guarantee transmission quality of wireless links.
Abstract:
A personal care composition is provided which includes from 0.1 to 30% of a dihydroxypropyltri(C1-C3 alkyl) ammonium salt by weight of the composition; from 0.0001 to 0.005% of a tri(C1-C3 alkyl)amine or protonated form thereof by weight of the ammonium salt; from 0.002 to 15% of an aluminum salt by weight of the composition; and a cosmetically acceptable carrier wherein the composition has a pH ranging from 5.5 to 6.9. Unpleasant amine odor from trialkyl amines which arise from the dihydroxypropyltri(C1-C3 alkyl) ammonium salts is suppressed by the aluminum salt and by careful control of pH conditions.
Abstract:
A washing machine for automatically adding the detergent by negative pressure comprises a water inlet, a detergent container and a tub. A main inflow waterway and a rinse waterway are provided between the water inlet and the tub. A dosing container which communicates with the detergent container is provided between the rinse waterway and the tub. A venturi tube is provided in the main inflow waterway. Due to venturi effect, the main inflow water stream becomes narrower and the water inflowing velocity is accelerated, so that a relative vacuum area which communicates with the dosing container is formed at the rear side of the venturi tube outlet, negative pressure is generated in the dosing container, and the detergent in the detergent container.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication. In one aspect, an apparatus for wireless communication is provided. The apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive a wireless signal comprising a packet. At least a portion of the wireless signal is configured to be received over a bandwidth lower than or equal to 1.25 MHz. The packet is formed from at least one orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol comprising thirty-two tones. The thirty-two tones correspond to frequency subcarriers within the bandwidth. The thirty-two tones of the at least one OFDM symbol are allocated as: twenty-four data tones, two pilot tones, five guard tones, and one direct current (DC) tone. The apparatus includes a processor configured to evaluate the wireless signal. The processor includes a transform module configured to convert the at least one OFDM symbol into a frequency domain signal using a thirty-two point mode.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for frequency interleaving for use with 80 MHz transmissions, such as those in the IEEE 802.11ac amendment to the IEEE 802.11 standard. According to certain aspects, frequency interleaving spatial streams for transmissions on channels having widths of about 80 MHz may comprise using an interleaving depth of 26. The number of frequency rotations may be 58 (or 29) for up to four (or up to eight) spatial streams. According to certain aspects, frequency interleaving up to eight (or up to four) spatial streams for transmission on channels having widths of about 80 MHz may comprise performing frequency rotation for each of the spatial streams based on a frequency rotation index=[0 4 2 6 1 5 3 7] (or=[0 2 1 3]).
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for constructing a VHT-SIG field of a transmission preamble in a manner that may reduce peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmission.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a technique for constructing a short training field (STF) sequence of a Very High Throughput (VHT) preamble in an effort to reduce a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). The constructed STF sequence may feature a specific repetition period.
