    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a communications device determines at least one position estimation performance parameter, determines a zone identifier based at least in part upon the at least one position estimation performance parameter, wherein the zone identifier identifies one of a plurality of zones, and transmits the zone identifier to one or more UEs. A UE receives the zone identifier, determines the at least one position estimation performance parameter, selects one or more candidate UEs for the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure based at least in part upon the at least one position estimation performance parameter, and performs the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure of the UE with at least the selected one or more candidate UEs.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a first transmission device incudes receiving a first set of observations from a first receiving device based on transmissions from the first transmission device to the first receiving device at a previous time slot of a fixed contention-based spectrum sharing system. The first transmission device shares a spectrum with a second transmission device. The method also includes measuring an energy level from an ongoing data transmission of the second transmission device at a current time slot. The method further includes generating, at an artificial neural network of the first transmission device, at least one of a transmission determination, a set of transmission parameters, or a combination thereof, based on a second set of observations, the energy level, and a counter. The method also includes transmitting, to the first receiving device, during the current time slot based on at least one of the transmission determination, the set of transmission parameters, or the combination thereof.

    Abstract: A method of measuring a wireless OFDM PRS at a user equipment includes: selecting a symbol subset of a symbol group of the OFDM PRS, the OFDM PRS comprising a slot of symbols comprising the symbol group, the symbol group consisting of a first symbol quantity of consecutive ones of the symbols, the symbol group being fully staggered in frequency domain, the symbol subset consisting of a second symbol quantity of the symbols of the symbol group, the second symbol quantity being smaller than the first symbol quantity, and the symbol subset being less than fully staggered in the frequency domain; and measuring the symbol subset without measuring all of the symbols of the symbol group.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a UE transmits an on-demand PRS request for PRS(s) on selected frequency-domain resource(s) (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.). In another embodiment, a UE receives, from a network component (e.g., BS, core network component, LMF, location server, etc.), configuration of frequency-domain resources (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.), wherein each frequency-domain resource configuration is associated with a bandwidth and SCS. The UE further receives, from the network component, configuration of PRS(s), wherein each PRS is associated with a single frequency-domain resource from the frequency-domain resources. The UE determines a single reference TRP for each of the frequency-domain resources, performs PRS measurements on the PRS(s), and determines positioning measurements at least based on the PRS measurements and the determined reference TRPs.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for receiving first downlink information, failing to decode a first portion of the first downlink information, transmitting, to a base station (BS), a first response including a negative acknowledgement (NACK) indicating a first decoding failure associated with the first portion of the first downlink information, receiving second downlink information, failing to decode a first portion of the second downlink information, detecting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer unavailability, determining to discard NACK information associated with the NACK, resetting at least a portion of a HARQ buffer, in response to detecting the HARQ buffer unavailability, by discarding NACK information associated with the NACK, generating a reset NACK indicating the HARQ buffer reset and indicating the NACK information being discarded, and transmitting a second response including the reset NACK to the BS.
