Abstract: The apparatus may be a UE configured to communicate, in a FD mode, with at least one base station via an unlicensed spectrum; determine to cancel at least one UL transmission corresponding to one or more UL resources, the one or more UL resources corresponding to a LBT procedure; and cancel, based on the determination, the at least one UL transmission corresponding to the one or more UL resources. The apparatus may be a base station configured to communicate, in a FD mode, with one or more UEs via an unlicensed spectrum; determine that a LBT procedure associated with DL scheduling will occur via a set of UL resources; and transmit, to the one or more UEs based on the determination, an indication of a cancelation of one or more UL transmissions during the set of UL resources.

The UE may decode the first downlink transmission according to a default transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state that indicates the spatial filter. The default TCI state may be based at least in part on a first active TCI state for the full duplex mode. Numerous other aspects are provided.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may interleave a signal, that is to be transmitted using discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM), and a negative of the signal to obtain an interleaved signal prior to performing a DFT on the interleaved signal. The UE may transmit a DFT-s-OFDM signal that is based at least in part on the interleaved signal. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for a thin control channel structure that can be utilized to enable multiplexing of two or more data transmission formats. For example, a thin control channel may carry information that enables ongoing transmissions utilizing a first, relatively long transmission time interval (TTI) to be punctured, and during the punctured portion of the long TTI, a transmission utilizing a second, relatively short TTI may be inserted. This puncturing is enabled by virtue of a thin channel structure wherein a control channel can carry scheduling information, grants, etc., informing receiving devices of the puncturing that is occurring or will occur. Furthermore, the thin control channel can be utilized to carry other control information, not being limited to puncturing information. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration for identifying availability and reliability of the availability for resources of a sidelink resource pool based on a plurality of signal quality thresholds. The UE may indicate, for each resource of a set of resources of the sidelink resource pool and based on the configuration, an indication of availability with respect to a first signal quality threshold and an indication of reliability of the availability with respect to a second signal quality threshold. The UE may select one or more resources of the sidelink resource pool based on the indication of availability and the indication of reliability of the availability for reach resource of the set of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages indicative of uplink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources and downlink SPS resources allocated to the UE, the uplink SPS resources and the downlink SPS resources being within a frequency band used for full duplex communications by the UE. The UE may modify parameters associated with the full duplex communications on the uplink SPS resources, the downlink SPS resources, or both, based at least in part on instances of the uplink SPS resources at least partially overlapping in time with instances of the downlink SPS resources. The UE may apply the one or more parameters, after modification, to transmission of uplink communications over the instances of the uplink SPS resources, reception of downlink communications over the instances of the downlink SPS resources, or both.

Abstract: Techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction are described. Wireless devices may use one or more PAPR shaping resources, such as expanded bandwidth and/or pulse-shaping filtering, for shaping a signal to reduce PAPR. For example, expanded bandwidth may be utilized for adding a cyclic affix (CA), such as may comprise a cyclic prefix (CP), cyclic suffix (CS), etc., and combinations thereof, to a frequency domain data signal to provide a CP augmented frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Additionally or alternatively, pulse-shaping filtering may be applied to a frequency domain signal to provide a pulse-shaped frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE), operating in a serving cell, may adjust a transmit power of an uplink message when a neighboring cell is operating in an opposite direction (e.g., relative to the direction of communications in the serving cell) within a same or similar frequency band in a same time period. The UE may receive control signaling that indicates a first power control configuration to be used when the neighboring cell is operating in a same direction as the serving cell and a second power control configuration to be used when the neighboring cell is operating in a different direction from the serving cell. The UE may select the appropriate power control configuration based on the communications directions of the serving cell and the neighboring cell and may transmit the uplink message in accordance with the selected power control configuration.
