Abstract:
A magnetic treatment of hydrocarbon fuel flowing through a fuel conduit. A plurality of magnets with repelling polarity is used in affecting the fuel structure and alternating said structure by aligning the hydrocarbons in a parallel uniform manner to increase combustion efficiency thus increasing power while reducing pollutants and exhaust emissions.
Abstract:
Apparatus for treating a fluid in a conduit, comprising first and second core elements of magnetically conductive material adapted to be mounted to the conduit to surround same at spaced positions therealong; and means for establishing radio frequency magnetic fluxes in said core elements, for generating respective electromagnetic fields in the fluid to be treated extending from spaced positions along the conduit.
Abstract:
A magnetic device adapted for various engine oil filtering apparatuses is proposed in the present invention. It includes an elastic metal plate; multiple holding bases, each of which has at least a containing portion, the holding bases being disposed on the elastic metal plate; and multiple magnets disposed in the containing portions of the holding bases respectively. The magnetic device has a sectional design and has various flexible combinations. Hence, it is more applicable and reduces the costs of production.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for capturing a target substance in a sample. The method includes the steps of preparing particles capable of capturing the target substance in a dispersed state in a fluid, aggregating the particles, and allowing the particles to capture the target substance in the sample by bringing the sample into contact with the particles aggregated.
Abstract:
Magnetic enrichment method, wherein the desired biological component is collected from a solution, which component is thereafter enriched in a liquid in such a manner that by means of the micro particles attached to the magnet or attached by means of at least one magnet at least one biological component is collected in a closed reactor vessel. Thereafter at least one biological component is enriched in such a manner that the desired component is released to the solution. The reactor unit is a closed vessel, wherein the prevailing conditions are controllable. The shape and the location of the magnet unit in the reactor unit are adjusted in a preferable manner to collect the desired biological component.
Abstract:
A magnetic separator for use in water treatment. Magnetic floc collected from water by the magnetic separator and delivered to a shearing device. Sheared slurry of magnetic seeds and sludge returned to same magnetic separator for extracting the seeds from the sludge and returning the seed to the water for reuse.
Abstract:
A horizontally-extending shear tank having a plurality of blades spaced along a horizontally extending elongated shaft disposed in the tank for shearing floc in a water treatment system. A method of collecting a swath magnetic floc, transferring the floc to the horizontally-extending shear tank, shearing magnetic seed from the floc to produce a slurry swath, and transferring the slurry swath to a magnetic device to separate the magnetic seed for recycling.
Abstract:
A system and process for utilizing a magnetic separation technique in a batch treatment process to clarify water. The system includes a tank, a mixing device, a shearing device and magnets. Water held in the tank includes magnetic floc having magnetic seed incorporated therein. The magnetic floc settle in a lower portion of the tank and clarified water is decanted from the tank. A shearing device shears the magnetic floc producing magnetic seed and sludge. A magnetic field retains the magnetic seed while the sludge is discharged from the tank. The retained magnetic seed are reused in subsequent batches of water.
Abstract:
A multi-stage process for removing dissolved contaminants and suspended solids from water employing a magnetic separation technique. The process includes two tanks and magnetic seed. In the first tank, water is clarified by magnetic technologies and in the second tank dissolved solutes are sorbed on magnetic seed.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for treating dirty water or other liquids containing particles of varying size includes a magnetic treatment unit and a centrifugal separator through which the liquid flows as a stream in sequence. The magnetic treatment unit causes very small sized particles to agglomerate, nucleate or otherwise to be amassed into larger particles which are then more easily separated by the centrifugal separator.
