In addition, a multi-color ink jet printing process comprises (1) printing at least one of aqueous ink jet inks comprising the above diol derivative onto a print substrate at any desired sequence by a printhead in a single or multiple pass method according to digital data signals and (2) optionally applying heat to the print substrate and the imaged inks at any stage of said ink jet printing process including before, during, and after printing as well as combinations thereof.

Abstract:
An improved method for stator of a motor, which is related to a shape of a stator made of laminated silicon steel in a motor; the prime of the method is to reduce the cogging torque upon the motor running so as to reduce the vibration of motor, and to increase the performance of the motor as well; the result of such method can be used for a stator made of laminated silicon steel in a motor so as to improve the structure of a stator in conventional motor, which used to generate a cogging torque.
Abstract:
The invention provides an improvement in a cell structure for gate arrays. By using the cell in gate arrays, the design flexibility and the symmetry feature of the gate array can be retained. By providing transistors of different sizes, the design can possess more flexibility and more efficiency. Moreover, a denser chip layout can be completed. Thus, average wire lengths used for interconnections in the chip design may be shorter than previously possible. Also, better utilization of available chip area can be made. Thus, it becomes possible to flexibly and optimally use every area of the chip.
Abstract:
A locking device for use in a bicycle brake system in order to retain a hand-operated brake lever thereof in a braked state includes a locking member of resilient material, and a bearing device for bearing the locking member on the brake lever. The brake system includes a mounting seat fixed on a bicycle handlebar for connecting a brake cable to the brake lever. The brake lever has a first end mounted pivotally to the mounting seat and turnable about a first axis. The locking member includes a pressure bearing portion, a pair of spaced bracing arm portions which extend traversely and respectively from two ends of the pressure bearing portion, and a pair of leg portions which extend inwardly and respectively from the bracing arm portions. The bearing device includes a pair of pivot holes formed in two opposite lateral walls of the brake lever to receive the leg portions therein such that the pressure bearing portion and the leg portions of the locking member are generally parallel to the first axis. The pivot holes are offset from a second axis which is parallel to the first axis so as to permit a first slight deformation of the two bracing arm portions to hold the bracing arm portions in an upright position relative to the brake lever.
Abstract:
A fluid flow control valve, e.g. a pressure vacuum breaker, includes a thermal expansion relief valve for protecting the control valve against damage due to freezing. The control valve has a valve body of rigid material and defines a main conduit. The thermal expansion relief valve has a relief valve body mounted to the main valve and defines a relief conduit in fluid communication with the main conduit, a valve element the moves within the relief conduit between a first sealing position in engagement with a valve seat to resist flow and a second position spaced from the valve seat to allow flow from the main conduit through the relief conduit, and a spring urging the valve element toward sealing position with a predetermined force selected to exceed normal operating pressure of the main valve and to lie below pressure damaging to the main valve. A thermal expansion valve for protecting fluid flow control valves, e.g. by retrofit, is also described.

An antifouling coating composition includes a binder copolymer which contains one or more copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomers or oligomers wherein at least one of said monomers or oligomers has a hydroxy group, a copolymerizable silicone monomer or oligomer, and a film formable metal soap compound which is prepared by reacting a metal compound containing a metal having a valency of at least 2 with an unsaturated fatty acid or alcohol.
Abstract:
A method for forming an interconnect structure within a semiconductor device. An isolation region which defines an active region is formed upon a semiconductor substrate. A gate electrode is formed upon the active region and an interconnect is formed partially upon the active region and partially upon the isolation region. A low dose ion implant is then provided into the active region not covered by the gate or the interconnect. A pair of insulator spacers are then formed at opposite edges of the gate. A source/drain electrode is then formed within the active region between the gate electrode and the interconnect, and a second source/drain electrode is formed within the active region between the isolation region and the gate. Finally, a metal silicide layer is formed bridging adjoining surfaces of the interconnect and the first source/drain electrode. In a second embodiment, the source/drain electrodes are formed after the metal silicide layer.
