A complier, program product, compilation device, communication terminal device and compilation method that enables parts of a source program having a large number of executions, or parts having a high possibility of a large number of executions, to be extracted with good precision and compiled preferentially. A loop having a multi-nested structure or a single-nested structure is searched for in a main program, and another program that is being called from within this loop is detected. Additionally, a loop having a multi-nested structure or a single-nested structure is searched for in the callee program, and the total number of nests in the loops detected so far is calculated as the loop depth. In other words, the degree of multiplicity in all of the loops forming a multi-nested structure over programs having a calling relationship is calculated as the loop depth. The loop having the greatest loop depth is included in the parts to be compiled preferentially, and only the parts determined as parts to be compiled are compiled.
Abstract:
The speed of execution of linked programs is improved to the extent possible within the limit of the capacity of memory storing linked programs. As initial settings, all class libraries are set for linking. By this means, all class libraries are linked. Then, a judgment is made as to whether there is overflow of memory storing linked programs. If there is overflow, the maximum value of the number of applications using currently linked class libraries is set in variable N. Then, settings are modified such that class libraries used by N or more applications are not linked, and linking is again performed. If memory overflow does not occur, processing ends.

In an Internet facsimile apparatus, it is an object of the invention to provide means for notifying the user of details of a message disposition notification situation (MDN) of a transmission image. When E-mail data is sent, an MDN for E-mail to be sent is requested and communication management information of the sent E-mail is updated on the basis of a reception result of reply E-mail responsive to the MDN request.

In a communication system having a network capable of converting data in a first format into data in a second format to perform communication, and a data communication apparatus capable of performing communication of the data in the first format, the data communication apparatus transmits information indicating a priority level of an image such that the network can recognize the information, when transmitting the image to the network in the first format. The network converts the data in the first format transmitted by the data communication apparatus into data in the second format, and attaches priority level data, based on the information indicating the priority level of the received image, to the data converted into the second format when performing communication.

A method for producing a group III nitride single crystal (ingot) includes providing a seed crystal comprising a first crystal face that is perpendicular to a growth direction of the single crystal and has a first predetermined area, and a second crystal face that is inclined to the growth direction and has a second predetermined area and growing the group III nitride single crystal on the first crystal face and the second crystal face by controlling a growth condition of the single crystal so as not to change the first predetermined area and the second predetermined area. A method for producing a group III nitride single crystal substrate includes further cutting the group III nitride single crystal substrate off from the grown group III nitride single crystal (ingot).

Facsimile communication is correctly performed even when an echo is generated in a communication line having a delay, by handling an echo signal in such a manner that when an echo of a CFR signal (according to the ITU-T recommendation V.21) transmitted from a receiving communication apparatus is received by the receiving communication apparatus, the echo signal is not recognized as a carrier of a picture signal and training data is not adjusted on the basis of the received echo signal, thereby making it possible to receive a correct short training/picture signal which arrives thereafter. A facsimile communication procedure includes storing training information when long training information is received, detecting success in receiving short training information, detecting high-speed data, setting the stored training information into the modem, and changing the receiving operation in response to detection of short training information and high speed data.

This invention is to provide a facsimile communication apparatus and method in which when a receiver which supports V.34 communication receives a call, transmits an ANSam signal, and receives a CM signal indicating V.17 communication from the transmitter, V.17 communication can reliably be established. A facsimile communication apparatus for executing a protocol defined in ITU-T recommendation V.8 with respect to a partner apparatus and setting an image transmission mode executable with respect to the partner apparatus on the basis of the protocol includes an ANSam signal transmission unit, a CM signal reception units, and a control unit for, when a CM signal indicating V.17 communication is received after transmission of an ANSam signal, executing control so as not to respond to the CM signal.

A scanning optical microscope using a wavefront converting element suffers minimum off-axis performance degradation and allows the wavefront converting element to be controlled by a simple method. Further, a pupil relay optical system is simple in arrangement or unnecessary. A laser scanning microscope includes a laser oscillator and a wavefront converting element for applying a desired wavefront conversion to a laser beam emitted from the laser oscillator. An objective collects a wavefront-converted approximately parallel laser beam emerging from the wavefront converting element onto a sample. A detector detects signal light emitted from the sample. An actuator scans the objective along a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

Collective transmission of image data for a same destination, containing one-side and two-side originals in mixed manner is enabled without deteriorating the interchangeability of a facsimile communication.A one-touch dial memory is rendered capable of storing timer transmission data, and, when the memory transmission is designated by a one-touch key of an operation unit, two-side and one-side images are read and are stored in an image memory. When the image data of plural sets are to be transmitted to the same destination at a designated time, such image data of plural sets are collectively transmitted to the same destination by separately connecting the calling between the set of the two-side images and that of the one-side images.
