Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for allocation for elevators in elevator systems, comprising the steps: identifying at least one passenger; searching for the group or the groups the at least one passenger is assigned to in an internal database or assigning the at least one passenger to a group or to groups, where the assignment is based on information of an internal database; and calling an elevator car for this at least one passenger and assigning to this elevator car the destination of one group the at least one passenger is assigned to. The invention further relates to elevator systems that are designed to execute this method.
Abstract:
In accordance with exemplary embodiments there is determining geo-routines of a user, the geo-routines based on at least one of a location and an altitude and a trajectory of the user, recording the determined geo-routines of user of the system; and based on a current trajectory of a user indicating that the user is going to use a transportation system, optimizing a use of the system according to the recorded geo-routines of the user of the system. In addition, sending information including a location and/or an altitude of a user, and a trajectory of the user, the information associated with a current gee-routine of the user, and receiving information to optimize the use of a transportation system, the receiving based on a current trajectory indicating that the user is going to use the transportation system and on the current geo-routine and/or historical geo-routines of a user of the transportation system.
Abstract:
An elevator system of this disclosure includes: a personal information terminal, which is carried by an elevator user and includes a display unit configured to represent a plurality of available services and a selecting unit by which it is possible to select a service by the display unit; and an elevator control device, which assigns a car of an elevator group according to call registration information from the personal information terminal and transmits information on the assigned car to the personal information terminal, wherein in a case where assigned car is changed due to the situation of the elevator group, the elevator control device changes the assigned car of the elevator group and displays a reassigned car for the user on the display unit of the personal information terminal.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and an elevator system for serving passenger-specific destination calls. The elevator system comprises at least one elevator and also means for determining the acceleration data of an elevator car of the aforementioned elevator. In the method a passenger-specific destination call is registered, which destination call comprises at least information about the destination floor of a passenger. The vertical acceleration of the passenger is measured with a terminal device in the possession of the passenger. The acceleration data of each elevator car leaving a floor is compared with the acceleration data of the passenger. If there is sufficient correlation between the acceleration data of the passenger and the acceleration data of any of the aforementioned elevator cars, the elevator car in question is guided to the destination floor according to the destination call.
Abstract:
A destination call-giving device for giving destination calls in an elevator system includes a device available to a user for selecting a destination floor from a plurality of floors that are in a certain sequence, and an output for communicating the selected destination floor to the control system of the elevator system. The device for selecting a destination floor includes a touch-sensitive display forming a user interface for presenting to the user information related to the selection of a destination floor and for receiving the input of the user. The destination floor is arranged to be selectable by the user from the aforementioned plurality of floors by moving a touch-sensitive point on a touch-sensitive display. An elevator system, a method for giving a destination call, and a computer program product are also disclosed.
Abstract:
An elevator call registering system includes: a responder configure to store therein user identification information; an interrogator configured to broadcast interrogator identification information, an authentication control apparatus configured to compare the user identification information read out from the interrogator with stored user identification information, and an elevator control apparatus. The interrogator is configured to transmit group identification information, the responder is configured to store therein the group identification information received and to transmit the user identification information and the stored group identification information, and the interrogator configured to determine whether or not to transmit the destination floor information associated with the user identification information to the authentication control apparatus based on a comparison result of the group identification information received from the responder and the group identification information of the interrogator when the user identification information is read out from the uplink signal.
Abstract:
In a method for adapting control functions in elevator systems using portable call terminals for providing calls, values of the control parameters are set and then used in the control of the elevator system. The values of the control parameters are dependent on the location of the call terminals. An elevator system includes: at least one elevator; at least one freely locatable call terminal; and a control system responsive to the call terminal. The control system is configured to control the elevator system based on at least one control parameter. A value of the control parameter is determined based on a location of the call terminal within a building after the portable call terminal is arranged at the location.
Abstract:
The present invention presents a solution for limiting access rights in a building, which building contains a conveying system, an access control system connected to the conveying system, which access control system comprises at least one short-range identification point and at least one long-range identification point and in which access control system passengers have a personal terminal device for giving service requests to the conveying system. A terminal device is taken into the operating area of a short-range identification point, the access rights connected to the service requests of the terminal device are activated, the terminal device is taken into the operating area of a long-range identification point and a service request generated with the terminal device is transmitted to the conveying system, if the access right connected to the service request is valid on the basis of the activation.
Abstract:
A method, an elevator system control unit, computer-readable media and an elevator installation for allocation of a user to the elevator installation, which is provided with a plurality of elevator cars and with a destination call control unit, wherein the user lodges a destination call at the destination control unit using a communications unit. The destination call control unit determines a group of elevator cars for serving the destination call and makes the group known to the user by the communications unit. The user selects an elevator car from the group by the communications unit. In addition, information for guiding the user to the selected elevator car is communicated to the user by the communications unit.
Abstract:
A secure access system and method is disclosed, the access system utilizing a powered secure card with access rights codes that allows an authorized user to gain access to an elevator, an area behind a door, or a particular floor in a building without requiring the user to retrieve the secure card and physically present the secure card to a sensor. Sensors in the access system communicate with a wireless transceiver in the secure card. Each sensor is capable of reading only the type of access code or codes that the sensor has been authorized for reading. A sequence of sensors for allowing or, denying access to areas or functions for the secure card increases security and prevents illicit copying of the access codes and duplication of the secure card.
