Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an intermediate phase adjustment apparatus of a CVVT (Continuous Variable Valve Timing). This apparatus includes a pressure adjusting means balancing pressure of chambers by selectively allowing oil to be moved from a chamber at relatively high pressure to a chamber at relatively low pressure. One way to achieve this is by a pressure difference through an oil line, through which the oil can move in only one direction between the chambers.
Abstract:
A bumper stiffener apparatus for a vehicle may include an upper member connected to a radiator grill, a lower member connected to a bumper below the upper member, a support bar connecting the upper member and the lower member, a hinge mechanism connected to the support bar, and a guide bracket fixed to a back beam arranged on a rear of the lower member to be connected to the hinge mechanism and in which a guide passage is formed for guiding an upward movement of the hinge mechanism when the lower member moves rearward.
Abstract:
An apparatus for injecting a two-tone interior panel may include a skin including a surface portion and a folded portion extending from an end of the surface portion, an upper mold under which the skin is disposed, and a lower mold that slides up or down below the upper mold. When the lower mold is elevated, a portion of the lower mold corresponding to the folded portion may come in indirect contact with the upper mold with the folded portion therebetween, and a portion of the lower mold corresponding to the surface portion may form a space between the lower mold and the surface portion into which a first resin is to be injected.
Abstract:
A method for diagnosing an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system includes: a setting step of setting a temperature map with respect to a temperature at an outlet side of an EGR line for an output value reflecting a driving state of a vehicle in a state in which an EGR valve is closed; a measuring step of measuring the temperature at the outlet side of the EGR line at the time of an operation of the EGR system; and a diagnosing step of diagnosing that a fault has been generated in an EGR system when the measured temperature at the outlet side of the EGR line is equal to or less than a reference value set in the temperature map.
Abstract:
A reclining apparatus for a rear seat in a car may include a plurality of links provided on both sides of a cushion frame and each being rotatably coupled at both sides to the cushion frame or a car floor, and a locking module configured to couple a back frame hinge-connected to the cushion frame with a car body and slidably and rotatably connected with the back frame so as to allow the back frame to tilt at a variable angle in response to movement of the cushion frame by the rotation of the links.
Abstract:
A method for diagnosing an electronic water pump of an engine in a vehicle includes determining whether a stall occurs while a sensorless 3-phase motor used for the electronic water pump of the engine is driven, based on a peak value of a torque of the motor. The method further includes determining whether the stall occurs while the motor is stopped, based on the torque of the motor.
Abstract:
A crash box for a vehicle may include a front connection portion that is connected to both ends of a back beam of the vehicle, a rear connection portion that is connected to a side member of the vehicle, an intermediate connection portion for connecting the front connection portion and the rear connection portion, which is formed as a hollow box shape and through which a cut cross-section of a heptangular shape is formed in a vehicle width direction, and a plurality of reinforcement ribs formed at an inner space of the intermediate connection portion.
Abstract:
An apparatus for classifying a passenger in a vehicle includes a seat cushion for a seat in the vehicle, the seat cushion having an adult detection area and a child detection area. A first chamber is disposed in the adult detection area and a second chamber is disposed in the child detection area. A margin improvement unit includes a pressure sensor configured to measure a first pressure based on a first weight applied to the first chamber and a second pressure based on a second weight applied to the second chamber. The margin improvement unit is configured to output a first adjusted pressure value based on the first pressure and a second adjusted pressure value based on the second pressure. The first adjusted pressure value is greater than the second adjusted pressure value when the first weight is substantially equal to the second weight.
Abstract:
A method for coating catalyst on a diesel particulate filter includes the steps of, preparing a filter main body by using a substance through which a plurality of pores are formed. coating firstly a reduction catalytic agent on the filter main body by immersing the filter main body into a wash coat solution containing the reduction catalytic agent. coating secondly the reduction catalytic agent on a region of the filter main body where a distribution of the firstly coated reduction catalytic agent is relatively low by providing absorption pressure to the other channel opposite to the selected one channel while supplying the wash coat solution containing the reduction catalytic agent to one channel that is selected from the inlet channel and the outlet channel of the filter main body that has been coated firstly.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods and systems for preventing overheating of a clutch by means of forcible creeping. A method may include determining whether a vehicle is in a hill-hold mode, comparing an inclination of a slope where the vehicle is with a predetermined reference inclination, and leading a driver to depress a brake pedal by starting an uphill creeping mode, when the inclination of the slope is within a range where the vehicle is maintained in the hill-hold mode.
