Abstract: A light source unit includes: a first light emitting element configured to emit a first wavelength band light; a second light emitting element configured to emit a second wavelength band light; a luminescent wheel configured to have a first fluorescent light emitting region irradiated with the second wavelength band light to emit a third wavelength band light, and a second fluorescent light emitting region that emits a fourth wavelength band light including a wavelength band of the first wavelength band light and the third wavelength band light having a wavelength band adjacent to the first wavelength band light being provided in parallel in a circumferential direction; a color wheel configured to have a second transmissive region that transmits the first wavelength band light to the fourth wavelength band light, and a third transmissive region that transmits only the first wavelength band light or transmits only the first wavelength band light and the second wavelength band light being installed in parallel in the circumferential direction, and synchronously rotate with the luminescent wheel; and a controller configured to cause the second wavelength band light to be emitted in each output period and the first wavelength band light to be emitted in the output period in which the fourth wavelength band light is emitted, in a plurality of output periods in a frame.

Abstract: An image processing device includes a memory storing a program, and at least one processor that executes the program. The processor sets an exposure condition for video imaging, acquires an image of the video imaged under the exposure condition, and calculates a brightness distribution from the image. The exposure condition includes a first exposure condition for causing the imaging device to capture an image using a first exposure value, and a second exposure condition causing the imaging device to capture an image using an exposure value higher than the first exposure condition and/or causing the imaging device to capture an image using a lower exposure value than the first exposure condition. The processor sets the first exposure condition or sets the first and the second exposure condition, based on the brightness distribution of the image captured under the first exposure condition after the first exposure condition is set.

The processor acquires a waveform signal representing vibrations of a target, the vibrations resulting from heartbeats of the target; extracts provisional heartbeat timings from the acquired waveform signal based on a first time window; the provisional heartbeat timings indicating provisional values of heartbeat timings being timings at which the heartbeats of the target occur; acquires corrective peak timings from the acquired waveform signal based on a second time window having a shorter time length than the first time window, each of the corrective peak timings serving as a discrete correction unit for correction of the provisional heartbeat timings; corrects the extracted provisional heartbeat timings into definitive heartbeat timings based on the acquired corrective peak timings; and acquires bioinformation on the heartbeats of the target based on the corrected heartbeat timings.
