    Abstract: An image processing device includes a memory storing a program, and at least one processor that executes the program. The processor sets an exposure condition for video imaging, acquires an image of the video imaged under the exposure condition, and calculates a brightness distribution from the image. The exposure condition includes a first exposure condition for causing the imaging device to capture an image using a first exposure value, and a second exposure condition causing the imaging device to capture an image using an exposure value higher than the first exposure condition and/or causing the imaging device to capture an image using a lower exposure value than the first exposure condition. The processor sets the first exposure condition or sets the first and the second exposure condition, based on the brightness distribution of the image captured under the first exposure condition after the first exposure condition is set.

    Abstract: A CPU of an imaging device of the present invention causes an interval moving image to be captured for each interval photographing, selects frames to be stored as still images from among a plurality of frames constituting the interval moving image based on a face image, blurring, and the presence or absence of a change, and causes these selected still images to be stored in association with the interval moving image. When an amount of data exceeding that for a preset storage time length is recorded, the CPU first deletes low-grade interval moving images. Then, if this is not enough, the CPU deletes low-grade still images, and thereby retains an image file (a mixture of moving images and still images) within the desired time length.

    Abstract: An imaging apparatus including an imaging sensor, a memory, and a CPU. The CPU is operable as: (i) repeatedly acquiring an image by driving the imaging sensor at preset timing, (ii) acquiring an image by driving the imaging sensor by receiving an instruction at arbitrary timing, while maintaining acquisition processing by the (i), (iii) storing, in the memory, the image acquired by the (i) and the image acquired by the (ii), (iv) judging whether the arbitrary timing and the preset timing coincide with each other, and (v) when judged that the arbitrary timing and the preset timing coincide with each other as a result of a judgment of the (iv), controlling to store, in the memory, the image acquired by one of the (i) and the (ii), as the image acquired by the other of the (i) and the (ii), or controlling the imaging sensor.
