Abstract: When a continuous imaging mode is set, a screen is displayed for allowing input of a number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images, a determination is made as to whether the number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images have been input by the user. When the number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images have been input, the input number of images and the imaging parameters are stored, and a direct image display is started. Moreover, when there is an imaging instruction, a continuous imaging process is started in which still imaging is performed continuously based on the stored number of images and the imaging parameters. When the continuous imaging process has been completed, the plurality of still image data, obtained with differing imaging parameters, is recorded.

Abstract: When sensor information acquired from various sensors matches an imaging factor set by a user, a sensor unit transmits a shutter trigger to a remote controller. After receiving the shutter trigger, the remote controller transmits the shutter trigger to a digital camera. Then, when the shutter trigger is received during an operation in an interval imaging mode, the digital camera records a still image or a short moving image in response to the reception of the shutter trigger and stores the image as an unsent image while continuing the operation in the interval imaging mode. Then, after the end of the interval imaging mode, the digital camera transmits all unsent images to a portable wireless communication device.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a chargeable battery, a system section, and a charging control section. The charging control system allocates electrical current supplied from the external device to the system section for use thereby and the battery for charging. The charging control section stops charging of the battery temporarily when a prescribed condition is met in the system section and the electrical current supplied via the cable is not a maximum current for the cable, and regulates the electrical current supplied via the cable to be at a constant level below the maximum current. The charging control section supplies electrical current from the battery to the system section as needed to meet a power demand by the system section that is not met by the electric current via the cable, while the electrical current supplied via the cable is being regulated to be at the constant level.
