Abstract: A user equipment may be configured to perform predictive methods for SSB beam measurements. In some aspects, the user equipment may receive, from at least a base station, a first set of one or more synchronization signal block beam identifiers corresponding to a first set of one or more SSB beams belonging to a SSB burst, and receive, from at least the base station, the SSB burst including the first set of one or more SSB beams. Further, the user equipment may transmit, to at least the base station, one or more of: reporting information for a second set of one or more SSB beams or indications corresponding to the second set of one or more SSB beams, the second set of one or more SSB beams determined based on a prediction model and the first set of one or more SSB beams.

Abstract: When moving within an area covered by an Integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, a mobile IAB node may come into proximity with another stationary or mobile IAB node that may have a same physical cell identifier (PCI) as the mobile IAB node. PCI collision issue may occur. Aspects presented herein address the possible PCI collisions. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be an IAB node configured to determine a configuration associated with PCI management of a PCI of the IAB node. The apparatus may be further configured to change the PCI of the IAB node based on the determined configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Autonomous transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station may be configured that include at least one of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) or resources for the transmissions. In some cases, a trigger may be detected that changes the MCS or resources to be used for the autonomous transmissions. The trigger may include the presence or absence of retransmissions or the value of a channel measurement falling below or exceeding a threshold value. Accordingly, the base station and UE may adjust the MCS or resources to be used for the autonomous transmissions based on detecting the trigger and then communicate using the adjusted MCS or resources. In some cases, the configuration for the autonomous transmissions may be signaled via a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE).

A set of user equipments (UEs) may communicate with each other on communication links using data resources from a pool of shared resources. The UEs may be configured to multiplex control resources with data resources of a shared resource pool. In some cases, a UE may communicate, in control resources, control signaling to reserve data resources of a shared resource pool. After transmitting the request, the UE may communicate data in one or more data resources. The UE may communicate the data using transmission components while concurrently processing control signaling using other components.
