Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may iterate a value of a channel access counter (CAC) to a trigger value based at least in part on configuring the value of the CAC. In some aspects, the first wireless communication device may utilize a channel access mechanism to select a set of time-frequency resources for a transmission of a packet based at least in part on iterating the value of the CAC to the trigger value. In some aspects, the first wireless communication device may transmit the packet to a second wireless communication device via the set of time-frequency resources based at least in part on utilizing the channel access mechanism to select the set of time-frequency resources for the transmission. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE), e.g., such as a pedestrian UE (PUE), may detect, during a first transmission period of a discontinuous transmission cycle, a transmission over a sidelink channel from a second UE that is located within a threshold distance from the first UE, the first UE associated with a first identifier. The first UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission, a second identifier associated with the second UE, the second identifier being different from the first identifier. The first UE may use, based at least in part on the second UE being within the threshold distance, the first identifier and the second identifier during one or more subsequent transmission periods of the discontinuous transmission cycle.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms for code block segmentation in a wireless communication network (e.g., a sidelink network). In some examples, a wireless communication device may reserve resources across two or more slots on a carrier for transmission of a transport block. The wireless communication device may then select code block parameters for segmenting the transport block into a plurality of encoded code blocks such that each encoded code bock is fully contained within a single slot. In some examples, the code block parameters may include a number of encoded code blocks and a respective size of each of the encoded code blocks.

Abstract: In an aspect, a vehicle apparatus of a vehicle obtains, based on sensor data from one or more vehicle sensors communicatively coupled to the vehicle, intra-lane position data relative to the vehicle, the intra-lane position data indicating at least one lateral distance between at least one side of a primary vehicle and at least one lane reference point. The vehicle apparatus transmits the intra-lane position data to one or more neighboring entities. In another aspect, a vehicle management device obtains intra-lane position data that indicates at least one lateral distance between at least one side of at least one observed vehicle of a plurality of neighboring vehicles and at least one lane reference point, and instructs at least one vehicle of the plurality of neighboring vehicles to perform one or more actions based on the intra-lane position data.

In some aspects, a transmitter device may receive, for communication in a network, information identifying a channel access frame structure, wherein the channel access frame structure is associated with a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs) grouped into a single frame, and wherein resources of the plurality of TTIs are allocated for transmission of reservation signal based at least in part on prioritization information. The transmitter device may transmit, to a receiver device, a reservation signal using a resource of the plurality of TTIs to indicate use of a subsequent resource for a subsequent transmission based at least in part on the channel access frame structure and a prioritization of the subsequent transmission. The device may exchange data with the other devices and determine a validity of data generated at the device in response.

Abstract: Device detection in networks with mixed mobility devices is discussed. Devices in the network first determine a discovery mode from a plurality of discovery modes, wherein the determining is based on a mobility state of the wireless device. The device identifies a set of resources associated with the determined discovery mode, wherein each of the plurality of discovery modes is provisioned with separate resources. A discovery signal is transmitted using the identified set of resources according to the discovery mode. Thus, devices with higher mobility will generally send discovery signals more often than devices that are static or semi-static.
