    Abstract: [Problem] To allow an inner container and an outer container to be easily detached from one another in a double-walled container comprising a bottomed, cylindrical inner container nested in a similarly bottomed, cylindrical outer container.
    [Solution] A double-walled container (1) comprises an outer container (20) that is a bottomed, cylindrical container made of a material with high rigidity, and whose cylindrical body has a horizontal cross-sectional shape with an inner perimeter surface thereof being circular; and an inner container (10) that is a bottomed, cylindrical container, and whose cylindrical body has a horizontal cross-sectional shape with an outer perimeter surface thereof being a non-circular shape, a radius of a circle circumscribed around the non-circular shape being greater than a radius of the inner perimeter surface of the outer container (20), and the inner container being elastically deformed so as to have portions thereof snugly fit in the inner perimeter surface of the outer container (20) when placed inside the outer container (20) such that respective cylindrical axes are parallel to each other.

    Abstract: A device of an embodiment includes: an optical mechanism; a control computation unit that controls driving of the optical mechanism, acquires a tomographic image of skin by processing an optical interference signal from an optical system, and calculates a network of blood vessels on the basis of the tomographic image; and a display device that displays an image of the network of blood vessels. The control computation unit sets a reference profile obtained by function approximation of an intensity profile in a depth direction of the acquired tomographic image, calculates a difference between an intensity value on the reference profile and an actual intensity value as an outlier V, the intensity values being those in the depth direction in the tomographic image, determines, as blood vessels or blood vessel candidates, coordinates with the outliers V within a predetermined blood vessel determination range, and calculates the network of blood vessels.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide, regarding a composition containing a nanodisc composed of a silicone-based surfactant, a nanodisc-containing composition having an improved stability of an emulsion composition.
    For achieving the object, provided is an oil-in-water emulsion composition containing (A) an aqueous phase, (B) an oil phase, and (C) polyoxyalkylene-modified silicone. When the oil-in-water emulsion composition contains 1 to 35% by mass in total of ethyl alcohol and dipropylene glycol in (A) the aqueous phase, 1 to 50% by mass of (B) the oil phase, and 0.2 to 5% by mass of (C) based on the whole composition, a nanodisc is formed and the emulsion state is stable.

    Abstract: An objective of the invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that increases the ultraviolet protection power of ultraviolet protectants, thereby achieving high ultraviolet protection power using only a small amount of ultraviolet protectants, while simultaneously providing an excellent texture and placing little strain on the skin. The sunscreen cosmetic according to the present invention contains the following components (A) to (C): (A) an ultraviolet protectant; (B) silica having a particle size of 0.3 to 1 µm; and (C) a powder having a particle size of 1 to 30 µm; wherein the (C) powder is of one or more types selected from the group consisting of silica, aluminum starch octenyl succinate, cellulose or derivatives thereof, waxes, mica, sericite and biodegradable resins.

    Abstract: A cosmetic material feeding-out container includes an outer tube, an inner tube disposed inside the outer tube, a cosmetic material container disposed in the inner tube with relatively moveable along a tube axial direction, an intermediate tube formed with a helical groove repeatedly on an inner circumferential face along a tube axial direction and disposed between the outer tube and the inner tube, an engagement member protruded from a portion of the cosmetic material container and engageable with the helical groove, and an operation unit including a knocking operation piece protruded from the outer tube and a rotating cam mechanism configured to rotate the intermediate tube in response to a knocking operation of the knocking operation piece, and the intermediate tube is configured to be rotated by the rotating cam mechanism to move the cosmetic material container along the tube axial direction.
