Abstract: A system and method for measuring a driver’s actual driving behaviors (e.g., acceleration, deceleration) in a manual driving mode to determine their preferred driving style, and then causing an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle to operate itself, within limits, in accordance with the drivers’ driving style when operating in a self-driving mode, thereby providing a more familiar and comfortable driving experience for the driver. Data is collected on the actual driving behavior, any pre-existing data is accessed on the actual driving behavior, and the collected data and the pre-existing data are combined. A custom control is then created based upon the combined data, and the custom control is applied to manage the self-driving behavior of the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle in a self-driving mode. Additional data continues to be collected on the actual driving behavior, and the custom control is adjusted based upon the collected additional data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating virtual collaboration between users within virtual environments are disclosed. A plurality of users access a collaborative virtual environment system using interface devices with varying capabilities to establish a virtual collaboration session in which users communicate via a bidirectional real-time communication channel and interact within a virtual environment. Annotations or other user interactions within the virtual environment are automatically propagated to each user in the virtual collaboration session in order to facilitate collaboration. Data from such virtual collaboration sessions may be captured for later use.

Abstract: To automatically streamline a vehicle claims process after a vehicle is damaged in a crash, sensor data from a plurality of sensors may be received and analyzed to determine crash information and to detect a crash involving the vehicle. The crash information may be transmitted to a server device, which may determine a treatment complexity level based on the crash information. A client device may receive crash repair information from the server device, the crash repair information including the treatment complexity level, and display the crash repair information.

Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to training and executing machine learning models configured to determine injury probabilities based on vehicle accident data. In some cases, a decision tree model may be constructed including various branching criteria based on particular vehicle accident data and injury ground truth data, including leaf nodes storing corresponding injury probabilities. A model execution component may execute the trained models to determine the probability of potential injuries associated with vehicle accidents. Based on the potential injury probabilities, a vehicle accident analysis system may identify target computer systems and/or target processes to be initiated on the target systems, based on the injury probabilities. In some example, the model execution architecture may be implemented using an event-driven system and/or cloud-based data storage and services to receive, store, and process data events associated with individual vehicle accidents.

Abstract: Methods and systems for populating overlays within a virtual environment. An example method includes obtaining a virtual reality model of an overall region; accessing a plurality of records associated with respective ones of a plurality of properties modeled in the virtual reality model, wherein each of the plurality of records represents a respective status of a respective insurance claim for the respective property, and wherein all of the insurance claims are related to a same damage-causing event for the overall region; generating a plurality of overlays for respective ones of the plurality of records, wherein each of the plurality of overlays depicts the status of the claim for the respective property; and causing the pluralities of overlays to be rendered in a virtual environment for the virtual reality model at substantially the same time.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to automatically determining customer information in response to detecting that a customer's mobile device is located at a retail location. A mobile device of the customer may detect a communication from a wireless communication beacon, and may send a customer ID to a backend server. Upon receiving the customer ID, the backend server may access customer information, and transmit it to a server of the retail location. The server may, in turn, cause a customer mobile device in the retail location to display the customer information, thus facilitating effective and efficient customer service. With the customer's permission, upon detecting the customer's mobile device, customer information may be pushed to a salesperson's device or information (e.g., insurance quote or claim information; new vehicle financing, feature, or review information; or other product or service information) may be pushed to the customer's mobile device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes detecting a distinct area within an image, comparing detected features of the distinct area within the image to reference features corresponding to a reference image, and determining that the detected distinct area matches the reference image based on the comparison between the detected features and the reference features. The method further includes receiving an indication that the user selects the detected distinct area within the image, retrieving contact information corresponding to the reference image, and causing the client device to display an interface allowing the user to contact the entity.

Abstract: A system for notifying emergency services of a vehicular crash may (i) receive sensor data of a vehicular crash from at least one mobile device associated with a user; (ii) generate a scenario model of the vehicular crash based upon the received sensor data; (iii) store the scenario model; and/or (iv) transmit a message to one or more emergency services based upon the scenario model. As a result, the speed and accuracy of deploying emergency services to the vehicular crash location is increased. The system may also utilize vehicle occupant positional data, and internal and external sensor data to detect potential imminent vehicle collisions, take corrective actions, automatically engage autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle features, and/or generate virtual reconstructions of the vehicle collision.

Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing image data to assess property damage are disclosed. According to certain aspects, a server may analyze segmented digital image data of a roof of a property using a convolutional neural network (CNN). The server may extract a set of features from a set of regions output by the CNN. Additionally, the server may analyze the set of features using an additional image model to generate a set of outputs indicative of a confidence level that actual hail damage is depicted in the set of regions.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes retrieving, via a computer network, an aerial image corresponding to a geographic location associated with a structure, and analyzing the aerial image to identify a first object within the aerial image. Identifying the first object includes identifying a first object data category corresponding to the first object, and determining objective and subjective data values descriptive of the first object and corresponding to the first object data category. The method also includes identifying one or more action items based upon the first object data category and the objective and subjective data values, and linking the one or more action items to a customer account that is associated with the geographic location.
