Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a control message that comprises scheduling information for a downlink message to be received by the UE and an uplink message to be transmitted by the UE. The UE may determine first frequency information for the downlink message and second frequency information for the uplink message based at least in part on the scheduling information, a first bitfield size associated with resource allocation for a first bandwidth part associated with the downlink message, and a second bitfield size associated with resource allocation for a second bandwidth part width associated with the uplink message. The UE may communicate the uplink message and the downlink message with the base station according to the first frequency information and the second frequency information.

Abstract: Techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction are described. Wireless devices may provide signaling with respect to one or more PAPR shaping resources. For example, a wireless device may provide signaling of PAPR shaping capability information. PAPR shaping capability information may include information regarding one or more PAPR shaping resources the wireless device has a capability to implement. Additionally or alternatively, a wireless device may provide signaling of PAPR shaping information. PAPR shaping information may include information regarding shaping the signal by a wireless device prior to transmission in a communication link by implementing one or more PAPR shaping resources. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive scheduling information for transmitting uplink control information in a first resource, where the first resource spans at least portions of a set of transmission time intervals. The UE may receive downlink data to be acknowledged via a feedback message in a second resource, where the second resource is within one of the set of transmission time intervals. The UE may identify that the first resource overlaps in time with the second resource. The UE may determine a transmission resource for the feedback message based on the first resource overlapping the second resource, the first resource spanning at least portions of the set of transmission time intervals, and the second resource being within one of the set of transmission time intervals. The UE may transmit feedback message via the transmission resource.

Abstract: A wireless device may identify a set of resources reserved for feedback information (e.g., resource elements (REs) reserved for feedback such as acknowledgement (ACK) or negative ACK (NACK) information) within a transmission time interval (TTI). Feedback information may be mapped to the reserved set of resources (e.g., reserved REs). The wireless device may determine a set of unused reserved resources (e.g., a set of unused reserved REs) based on the number of feedback bits. The wireless device may then map other bits (e.g., zeros, known bits, pattern or sequence of bits, random bits, etc.) to the set of unused reserved REs, or boost transmission power of bits mapped around the unused reserved REs. In some cases, the number of reserved REs may be determined based on the number of feedback bits (e.g., the size of the ACK/NACK payload). The wireless device may then transmit the information to a base station.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may identify a collision between a first resource for a downlink semi-persistent scheduled communication and a second resource for another downlink signal; and perform an action to mitigate the collision based at least in part on identifying the collision. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a collision between a first resource for a downlink semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) communication and a second resource for another downlink signal; and determine an action, to be performed by a base station, to mitigate the collision based at least in part on identifying the collision; and selectively receive the downlink SPS communication or the other downlink signal based at least in part on the determination. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink data transmission scheduled for transmission by the UE in a first transmission time interval overlaps with multiple uplink control transmissions also scheduled for transmission by the UE during corresponding second transmission time intervals that are shorter in duration than the first transmission time interval. The UE may determine that the multiple uplink control transmissions satisfy a scheduling constraint that is based at least in part on an uplink control transmission type of the multiple uplink control transmissions that overlap with the uplink data transmission. The UE may transmit the uplink data transmission and the multiple uplink control transmissions based at least in part on the scheduling constraint being satisfied.

Abstract: Techniques and devices for wireless communications are described to support communication over multiple component carriers using configured resources. A base station may identify a resource configuration for one or more sets of configured resources for communication with a user equipment (UE) and may indicate the resource configuration to the UE. The base station may transmit a downlink control message to the UE that includes a field to indicate one or more sets of resources that are to be activated or deactivated. The UE may receive the downlink control message and, based on the downlink control message, may identify the one or more indicated sets of resources. The UE may determine, based on the downlink control message, whether the one or more sets of resources is activated or deactivated. The UE and the base station may communicate based on the one or more activated or deactivated sets of resources.
