Abstract:
Device for connecting a displaceable element, especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device that is guided in a rail. The device includes first and second fixing members which each contain outer panels and fitting, elements which can be interconnected by an axle. The fitting elements are inserted into a cutout section on the edge of the displaceable element and interconnected. The fitting elements encompass a connection screw which can be connected to the guide device, the connection screw having a screw shaft with a screw head, a locking element and a thread. The fitting element of the first fixing member has a channel for receiving the screw shaft, the channel having channel walls, a trough for receiving the screw head and a cavity for receiving the securing element. The locking element can be stopped by a stop screw. The fitting element of the second fixing member has a recess for receiving the channel walls and an opening through which the screw head can be accessed. The assembled device can be adjusted by loosening the stop screws by a few turns and turning the connection screw until the displaceable element is set at the desired height. The stop screws are then re-tightened. The locking element is part of the connection screw and is encompassed in the device so that the top edge of the displaceable element can be drawn practically up to the rail.
Abstract:
A rolling device for a sliding leaf (2) of a door or window and having a slide (7) aimed at being accomodated in the slit (24) provided for in the lower edge (23) of a profile (4) defining the lower rail (3) of the leaf (2), this slide (7) resting against a metallic reinforcement (6) or a horizontal wall (44) located in the inner portion (5) of the profile (4). The slide (2) is also provided a hooking-in member (27, 28), cooperating with the transversal edges (29, 30) of the slit (24), defined by a horizontal rim (31) at the level of its transversal ends (17, 17A), at least one horizontal rim (31) being subjected to springy restoring member (33) allowing to withdraw the hooking-in member (27) in order to allow the passing through, by snapping in, of this latter, and its removal, the hooking-in member (27, 28) being completed by a retaining member (47) capable of vertically immobilizing the rolling device (1) in the slit (24) of the profile (4).
Abstract:
The sliding device for a sliding panel comprises:a) a support which is shaped in or attached to the bottom portion of the panel, said support having a downwardly open upside-down U-shape;b) an oscillating arm secured to the support about a pivot axis which is horizontal and which extends transversely relative to the U-shape;c) sliding means fixed towards the free end of the oscillating arm;d) a pivoting cam which is secured to the support by a first axis of rotation and bears against the oscillating arm; ande) an adjustment screw which is fixed relative to the support and whose displacement serves to adjust the angle of rotation of the cam by means of a linkage between the cam and the adjustment screw. It may also include means for locking the oscillating arm in position relative to the support whenever the sliding means is in its high position within the support. The oscillating arm may include means for securing a cleaning pad suitable for bearing against the roller wheel and/or for extending in the form of a loop beneath the oscillating arm.
Abstract:
A window slider for guiding a vehicle window in a guide channel having spaced, side and base walls comprises a one-piece molded plastic part having stiffly resilient projections integral with the part and extending laterally in two directions to bear against the side and base walls to prevent rattling of the slider in two directions in the channel. Serveral embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
An adjustable roller assembly for sliding doors including a housing adapted to be snap-fit into a recess provided in the upper or lower surface of a door frame, the housing defining a cavity which is open at the lower end. A roller carrier is mounted in the housing cavity and is vertically adjustable with respect to the housing. The lower end of the roller carrier defines circular flanges in which is rotatably mounted a roller having an integral hub. A camming arrangement associated with the roller carrier is accessible for adjustment from the side of the door frame and is operable to adjust the vertical position of the roller carrier and roller to adjust the slack between the door and the track upon which the roller is adapted to ride.
Abstract:
In a motor vehicle door of the so-called "open" type, the sliding window is constituted by a single unit having a runner cooperating with a fixed or telescopically-extendible guide rail which can extend from the upper edge of the body of the door. The guide rail supports the window in an intermediate position between the two vertical end sides of the door.
Abstract:
A guide for guiding the movement of an automotive window along a channel shaped track is disclosed. The guide is made from two molded, identical plastic half members which are snap fittingly connected together and which have track receiving head portions which are held apart by bowed leafs and biasingly held via integral hinges in sliding engagement with the track when connected therewith to eliminate or minimize rattling noise therebetween.
Abstract:
Herein disclosed is a window regulator of a sashless door, which comprises a link motion device which can assume both a contracted condition and an expanded condition. When the window pane is moved up near its full-closed uppermost position, the link motion device changes its condition from the contracted condition to the expanded condition thereby shifting the lower portion of the window pane outwardly, that is, toward the outer panel of the door.
Abstract:
Hardware for converting a door panel into a sliding door includes a pair of two-wheel trolley assemblies for supporting a door panel, a one piece track for attachment above a door opening, and a guide assembly for the bottom of the door panel for stabilizing the door when it is in the closed position. The track has running surfaces at 90.degree. to each other on which the wheels run. For use with doors for refrigerated rooms, one of the running surfaces has elevated portions for raising one wheel of each trolley. When on the elevated portions, the door panel is moved outwards from the door opening, thereby minimizing damage by the sliding panel to the door seals.
Abstract:
A sliding door structure suitable for furniture and the like, comprises a first door (1) and a second door (2), respectively slidable on a pair of parallel, spaced upper guides (4,6) and a pair of parallel, spaced lower guides (3,5). The said first door (1) is connected to rollers (17), which roll on the guides (4), by a mechanism (10-40) able to cause a coplanar positioning of the doors (1,2) in the closure position, and displacement of the first door (1), substantially perpendicularly with respect to the door translation direction, to superimpose the first door (1) over the second door (2) during opening of the doors themselves.
