    Abstract: A display device according to present disclosure comprising: a first display panel that displays a first image; a second display panel disposed on a back surface side of the first display panel to display a second image; and an image processor that acquires input image data and generates first image data corresponding to the first image and second image data corresponding to the second image based on the input image data, wherein the image processor includes a first filter circuit that performs first low-pass filter processing on the input image data, and the first filter circuit reduces a degree of the first low-pass filter processing when input gradation of the input image data is less than first gradation as compared with a case that the input gradation is greater than or equal to the first gradation.

    Abstract: Examples of display devices are described herein. In an example, a display device comprises a color filter (CF) substrate having a black matrix extending in a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction, wherein, in plan view, two adjacent color filters of different colors are aligned along the first direction and two adjacent color filters of a same color are aligned along the second direction. The display device comprises a plurality of spacers arranged in the first direction, wherein the plurality of spacers comprises a first, second and third spacer arranged adjacent to each other. The spacers are arranged, such that along the first direction or the second direction, a distance between a center of the first spacer and a center of the second spacer is different from a distance between the center of the second spacer and a center of the third spacer.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is disclosed. The liquid crystal display device includes a display panel that includes four sides. One of the four sides has a cut edge. The display panel includes a display region in which an image is to be displayed; a non-display region that surrounds the display region and that includes a non-light transmitting layer that restricts light transmission therethrough; and a plurality of slits disposed in the non-light transmitting layer. An edge of the non-light transmitting layer is co-planar with the cut edge. The plurality of slits are parallel to the cut edge.

    Abstract: An electrostatic capacitive coupling type touch panel including an input region having four sides, a peripheral region around the input region, terminals formed in the peripheral region along a first side of the input region, wirings formed in the peripheral region along second, third and fourth sides of the input region, and the input region having X and Y electrodes crossing. The wirings are connected between corresponding X or Y electrodes and wiring terminals plurality of terminals.     Abstract: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device including a display panel provided with a first substrate, a second substrate, and liquid crystal, the method comprises: a first irradiation step of irradiating first positions of a first glass plate and a second glass plate with a laser beam having first irradiation energy; a second irradiation step of irradiating second positions of the first glass plate and the second glass plate with the laser beam having second irradiation energy higher than the first irradiation energy; and an etching step of exposing the display panel to an etching solution after the first irradiation step and the second irradiation step, such that the first positions are not cleaved, the second positions are cleaved, and at least a part of an outer periphery of each of the first substrate and the second substrate is formed.

    Abstract: A drive circuit includes an output circuit provided in a display panel to output a gate-on voltage and a gate-off voltage to a plurality of gate lines. The plurality of gate lines include first to sixth gate lines sequentially disposed in a scanning direction. A first transistor is put into an on state to electrically connect the first gate line and the third gate line, a second transistor is put into the on state to electrically connect the second gate line and the fourth gate line, the third transistor is put into the on state to electrically connect the third gate line and the fifth gate line, and the fourth transistor is put into the on state to electrically connect the fourth gate line and the sixth gate line, after the output circuit outputs the gate-on voltage to the first to fourth gate line.

    Abstract: A backlight module for a liquid crystal display includes: LEDs; LED drivers; a controller that outputs data and the latch signal to the LED drivers; data lines for transmitting the data; and latch signal lines for transmitting the latch signal. The latch signal lines are wired according to each of a plurality of first groups obtained by dividing LED drivers. The data lines are wired according to each of a plurality of second groups, which are constructed with a collection of at least one LED driver selected from each of the plurality of first groups without duplication, and each data line is commonly connected to at least one LED belonging to the corresponding second group.
