    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may help enhance power control for sidelink transmissions. According to certain aspects, a method for wireless communications by a first user equipment (UE) generally includes transmitting a power headroom report (PHR) to a second UE, receiving, from the second UE, a transmit power control (TPC) based on the PHR, and transmitting at least a first sidelink transmission to the second UE with transmit power in accordance with the TPC.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for an SCG measurement configuration and adding/switching enhancement. A UE may receive information associated with an MCG and training, based on at least one of the information associated with the MCG or historical information of the UE for an SCG, an ML model of UE, of network and interworking in between that indicates whether a location of the UE is within a coverage area of the SCG. The UE may communicate with a base station based on an indication of the ML model. The indication of the ML model may be indicative of whether the UE is within the coverage area of the SCG.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a position estimation entity provides assistance data to sidelink anchors and a UE. The assistance data may include a set of proximity-based sidelink positioning reference signal (PRS) pre-configurations for on-demand PRS position estimation. The target UE transmits a sidelink PRS trigger to trigger an on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation session with a dynamic sidelink anchor group, the sidelink PRS trigger configured to indicate a sidelink zone associated with the UE and a proximity requirement for participation in the on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation. At least one sidelink anchor determines that the proximity requirement to the sidelink zone is satisfied, selects a proximity-based sidelink PRS pre-configuration based on a dynamic proximity to the sidelink zone, and performs a sidelink PRS exchange with the UE.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a communications device (e.g., UE, gNB, LMF, etc.) determines a reference geographic coordinate (e.g., local or global coordinate) for a plurality of sidelink zones, wherein boundaries associated with each sidelink zone are defined via a respective sidelink zone identifier that includes one or more geographic offsets relative to the reference geographic coordinate. A UE receives an indication of the reference geographic coordinate, and performs one or more sidelink zone-related operations based on the reference geographic coordinate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication at a wireless device of a wireless wearable device. In one aspect, the wireless device may transmit a first report based on one of a location of the wireless wearable device, a time period, or reception of a user-controlled indication to transmit the first report. The wireless device may also receive, based on the transmitted first report, a configuration to switch from a first mode to a second mode. In some aspects, the configuration can include at least one parameter associated with a power savings at the wireless wearable device while in the second mode. Additionally, the wireless device can operate based on the at least one parameter while in the second mode.

    Abstract: Mechanisms for rate matching a downlink communication channel in a multi-radio access technology (RAT) communication scenario are described. In one aspect, a method for wireless communication performed by a base station (BS) includes rate matching, based on a rate matching pattern indicating a plurality of reserved resource elements, a downlink (DL) communication channel. The method further includes transmitting, to a user equipment (UE) on one or more antenna ports, a DL communication in the rate matched DL communication channel. The method further includes transmitting, on the one or more antenna ports, one or more signals in the plurality of reserved resource elements. The one or more signals transmitted in the plurality of reserved resource elements may allow UEs associated with other RATs to estimate the rate matched DL communication channel.
