Abstract:
A panel device mounted on a computer case comprises an adjustment unit for adjusting CPU's operating frequency, a display module for showing system information, and a microprocessor which interconnects the adjustment unit and the display module with the computer system. The microprocessor can perform adjustment done by the adjustment unit and issue a service request signal to the computer. In response, the computer issues signals about system information to the microprocessor for being processed and showed on the display module.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a TV image conversion device for turning a computer on or off by means of a multimedia remote control. The TV image conversion device is electrically coupled to a computer enabling a user to operate a computer on-off switch on the multimedia remote control to turn the computer on or off wirelessly rather than walk to a computer to either turn the computer on or off by pressing an on/off switch on the computer. By utilizing this, the above drawback of incapable of turning a computer on or off by means of a remote control as experienced by the prior art can be overcome.

Abstract:
A computer housing includes a frame body having a receiving frame for holding therewith a data read/write device, a from board provided with a first floating fastening element, and a second floating fastening element provided on the data read/write device such that the second floating fastening element can be moved to engage with the first floating fastening element of the front board so as to enable the front board to be fastened securely with the frame body. A computer housing has a plurality of floating retainers to facilitate the speedy assembly of the computer, and thereby, the improved computer housing which can be joined with the front board securely without the use of fastening screws.
Abstract:
A method and an electronic device of updating and testing multiple embedded controllers (ECs) are provided. First, in the electronic device, a basic input output system (BIOS) executes an updating software to read an embedded-controller read-only file (ECROF) in an external read-only memory (ROM). A first embedded controller (first EC) writes the ECROF from the external ROM into the first EC. The first EC uses the ECROF to update a first firmware of the first EC. Then, the first EC updates a second firmware of a second embedded controller (second EC) with the ECROF. Next, the first EC or another hardware device compares the first summary information stored in the first EC and the second summary information of the updated second EC. When the first summary information and the second summary information are different, the first EC or the hardware device generates a warning message.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a movable locking ear and an electrical device. The electrical device comprises a frame and a movable locking ear. The frame comprises a first recess, a second recess opposite to the first recess, and a side wall between the first recess and the second recess. The movable locking ear comprises a first fastening member for fastening the first recess, a second fastening member opposite to the second fastening member for fastening the second recess, and a resisting member between the first fastening member and the second fastening member. A position of a bending end of the resisting member is near or far from the side wall depending on a distance between the first fastening member and the second fastening member.
Abstract:
A method for determining a position of a wireless access point, a wireless access point, and a wireless access point combination are provided. The wireless access point and a plurality of electronic devices are disposed in a space. The wireless access point moves along a predetermined route. The wireless access point receives a plurality of wireless network signals of the plurality of electronic devices at a plurality of positions on the predetermined route. The wireless access point determines relative positions of the plurality of electronic devices in the space according to the plurality of wireless network signals of the plurality of electronic devices, and then determines a signal transmitting/receiving position of the wireless access point according to the relative positions of the plurality of electronic devices in the space.

Abstract:
A portable mobile device includes a housing, a camera, a processor, and a display. The camera is disposed on the housing for capturing an image of an obstacle. The processor is disposed in the housing for calculating a distance between the obstacle and the housing. The display is disposed on the housing for displaying the image, and for displaying a warning message when the distance is less than a predetermined value.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a display unit and a main unit having a separable module and a base. The separable module is provided along two opposite shorter edges with a plurality of hooking elements, and has at least one carrier member located on one side of the separable module. The base includes a plurality of retaining slots corresponding to the hooking elements, and at least one magnetic element located on one side of the base facing toward the carrier member. To cover the separable module onto the base, first cause the carrier member to be magnetically attracted to the at least one magnetic element and align the hooking elements with the retaining slots, and, then, move the separable module for the hooking elements to engage with the retaining slots, so that the separable module is held to the base.
