Abstract:
A case for an electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a support and a sealing ring. The first housing has a first surface and a second surface that together form an accommodation portion. The second surface is connected to the first surface, and the second surface surrounds the first surface. The second housing is disposed in the accommodation portion. The second housing has a third surface and a fourth surface connected to each other. The third surface faces the first surface, and the fourth surface faces the second surface. The support is disposed between the first surface and the third surface for keeping a distance between the first surface and the third surface. The sealing ring is squeezed between the second surface and the fourth surface, and the sealing ring seals the accommodation portion.

Abstract:
A method for remote authorization to log into a computer system includes inserting a universal serial bus (USB) device to a USB port of the computer system to trigger a microcontroller of the USB device to execute a verification program, the verification program reading the information in the computer system through the USB port, the verification program, according the information, generating an authorization request, and sending the authorization request through a network interface of the USB device to an authorizer's device, the authorizer's device generating and sending an authorization response to the USB device in response to the authorization request, and the verification program, according to the authorization response, making the USB device to simulate an input device for inputting an account and a password of a user to the computer system so as to log in to the computer system.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a smart speaker with fragrance dispenser. A housing is disposed below a lid. One or more air outlet, one or more air inlet, and one or more sound outlet are disposed on one side of the housing. A fragrance module is disposed on the inner side of the housing for outputting fragrance. A speaker and the fragrance module are disposed separately. A dot-matrix display is disposed on one side of the speaker. The speaker outputs sound and the dot-matrix display outputs light. A processor is disposed below the speaker and connected electrically to the fragrance module, the speaker, and the dot-matrix display for controlling the output of fragrance, sound, and light. The present invention further adopts a limiting member so that the lid can rotate and slide on the fragrance module.
Abstract:
A slot assembly configured for being inserted by a workpiece. The slot assembly comprises a holder body, a substrate, a push member and a heat spreader. The substrate and the holder body together form an accommodating space therebetween. The push member is movable between a released position and a pressed position. The push member is configured for being moved from the released position to the pressed position by being pushed by the workpiece. The heat spreader is movably disposed on the substrate and located in the accommodating space. The heat spreader has a thermal contact surface facing away from the substrate. The thermal contact surface is configured for being in thermal contact with the workpiece. When the push member is located at the pressed position, the heat spreader is located at a thermal contact position where the thermal contact surface is in thermal contact with the workpiece.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a TV image conversion device for turning a computer on or off by means of a multimedia remote control. The TV image conversion device is electrically coupled to a computer enabling a user to operate a computer on-off switch on the multimedia remote control to turn the computer on or off wirelessly rather than walk to a computer to either turn the computer on or off by pressing an on/off switch on the computer. By utilizing this, the above drawback of incapable of turning a computer on or off by means of a remote control as experienced by the prior art can be overcome.
Abstract:
A method and an electronic device of updating and testing multiple embedded controllers (ECs) are provided. First, in the electronic device, a basic input output system (BIOS) executes an updating software to read an embedded-controller read-only file (ECROF) in an external read-only memory (ROM). A first embedded controller (first EC) writes the ECROF from the external ROM into the first EC. The first EC uses the ECROF to update a first firmware of the first EC. Then, the first EC updates a second firmware of a second embedded controller (second EC) with the ECROF. Next, the first EC or another hardware device compares the first summary information stored in the first EC and the second summary information of the updated second EC. When the first summary information and the second summary information are different, the first EC or the hardware device generates a warning message.
Abstract:
A method for determining a position of a wireless access point, a wireless access point, and a wireless access point combination are provided. The wireless access point and a plurality of electronic devices are disposed in a space. The wireless access point moves along a predetermined route. The wireless access point receives a plurality of wireless network signals of the plurality of electronic devices at a plurality of positions on the predetermined route. The wireless access point determines relative positions of the plurality of electronic devices in the space according to the plurality of wireless network signals of the plurality of electronic devices, and then determines a signal transmitting/receiving position of the wireless access point according to the relative positions of the plurality of electronic devices in the space.
