A modular enclosure system for electronic equipment is disclosed as is a process for assembling such a system. The basic element of the system is a frame unit which forms a chamber of the electronic equipment. Each frame unit has front, rear and side openings. Around each opening is a flange and a push-on bulb seal. A generally rectangular cross-sectioned seal is adhered to corner posts of the frame unit. Doors are mounted to the frame unit to seal the front and rear openings by compressing respective bulb seals. Side panels are mounted to the frame unit to cover side openings of a single or multi-frame unit system and the side panel compress both types of seals mentioned above. Bridge panels connect adjoining, alinged frame units and compress the rectangular seals and also result in bulb seals mounted around adjoining side openings of adjoining frame units to compress each other. Battery housings, covers and skids are also connected to aligned frame units as is a single cap panel. The system is simple, economical, easy to handle, east to install and easy to expand.

There is provided a transformer including an E shaped and two I shaped magnetic cores and a first, second and third windings, wherein: one I shaped magnetic core is located between one side and a middle legs of the E shaped magnetic core, another is located between another side and the middle legs; there is an air gap on each of the two I shaped magnetic cores or two side or bottom legs of the E shaped magnetic core, the first winding is wound on a part of the magnetic cores where the air gap exists; the second and third windings are wound on the middle leg; and the first winding is connected in parallel with the second winding to constitute a primary winding; the third winding is a secondary winding. With the transformer provided by the invention, transformer winding loss can be reduced, and transformer efficiency can be improved.

The slide lock assembly includes a housing coupled to one of the dome and the base and defining a channel and a slider positioned within the channel. In one example embodiment, one of the slider and the housing includes multiple protrusions in contact with the other one of the slider and the housing. The protrusions inhibit surface contact between the slider and the housing. In another example embodiment, the slide lock assembly includes a gasket, seal and/or plug to inhibit ingress of debris into the slide lock assembly. The enclosures generally include vent opening configured to allow air to flow into and out of the enclosures, and fans configured to circulate the air within the enclosures around the electronic equipment housed therein. The enclosures also include backflow assemblies located between the vent openings and the fans, and configured to inhibit movement of unwanted materials through the enclosures between the vent openings and the fans. In addition, the backflow assemblies may include multiple vanes disposed adjacent the vent openings and arranged to block straight paths from the vent openings into the enclosures past the multiple vanes. The multiple vanes may be operable both to inhibit the movement of the unwanted materials through the enclosures and to allow air to flow out of the vent openings from the enclosures without moving.

The distribution jumper incremental slack limiting fiber management system is configured to reduce slack in at least one jumper fiber extending between the universal splitter holder and the distribution module within the distribution hub.
