摘要: A part transporting apparatus comprises a guiding groove for lining up parts in one row and guiding the parts; a transporting member which is provided at the base of the guiding groove and transports the parts in a forward direction by itself moving forwards and backwards along the groove; and a driving means for reciprocally driving the transporting member in the forward and backward directions; wherein the transporting member is advanced slowly and retracted rapidly, so as to transport the parts forwards. Provided to this arrangement are: a stopper which operates so as to open and close in the width direction of the guiding groove, and hold the second part from the front of the row of parts being transported on the upper plane of the transporting member; and a shutter for opening and closing at the tip of the guiding groove, so as to cover the space above the first part in the row so as to prevent the part from flying out. The shutter is opened synchronously with the transporting member immediately before forward movement of the transporting member is completed, thereby extracting the first part separated from the second part. Such an arrangement provides for an apparatus for transporting parts, wherein the first part and second part can be separated in a sure manner even in the event that the parts are non-magnetic material, and wherein ease and stability of extracting of the first part is facilitated.

摘要: In the combination of headrest stay holder and holder bracket for use with a vehicle seat, an improved arrangement is provided, which comprises a force accessible part defined in the headrest stay holder, a releasable rotation-preventive part defined between the headrest stay holder and holder bracket, and a disengagement guide part defined between the holder and a lower end of the bracket. Normally, under a resistance of the releasable rotation-preventive part, a pair of hook-like end parts of the headrest stay holder are engaged with an engagement end portion of the holder bracket , but a great force of rotation can be accessed and applied via the force accessible part, using a wrench or the like, to that holder, sufficient to overcome the resistance, so as to disengage the two hook-like end parts from the holder bracket lower end via the disengagement guide part. In this way, the headrest stay holder can easily be removed from the holder bracket, without troublesome and dangerous processes.

摘要: A ball joint of the present invention joins a pair of members so that relative pivotal movement of the pair of members is permitted. The ball joint comprises a ball stud to be connected to one of the pair of members, a bearing support rod to be connected to the other member, and a cup-shaped bearing for supporting the ball stud on the rod. The bearing is formed of an elastic polymeric material and has an expandable open end to permit the ball of the ball stud to be put in and taken out of a hollow defined by the spherical inner surface of the bearing through the open end. The opposite ends of a rod forming the bearing support rod is bent in a ring-shaped heads, respectively. When the bearing is fitted in the ring-shaped head, the ring-shaped head compresses the bearing so that the ball of the ball stud is unable to come off the bearing. The ball joint of the present invention comprises a comparatively small number of component parts and has a simple construction, and any expensive manufacturing facilities are not necessary for manufacturing and assembling the component parts.

摘要: A seat belt device in an automotive seat, which comprises a seat belt extending from a part of the automobile to a floor of the same for restraining a passenger to the seat, and a seat belt guide provided at one upper corner portion of the seat back of the seat.The seat belt guide includes a guide anchor through which the seat belt slidably passes, and a drive mechanism for causing such through guide anchor to be moved in a vertical direction along the longitudinal direction of the seat back. Thus, the initial point at which the seat belt begins to approach a passenger may be set at a desired level via the guide anchor, thereby adapting the seat belt to better fit, and hence better restrain the passenger's trunk to the seat, irrespective of his or her individual physical differences and/or inclination of the seat back.

The upper die has a working surface larger than the decorative strip and formed with a fine crimp and fine irregularity. Thus, the decorative strip is welded integrally to the substrate on the same level, to thereby produce a greatly advantageous and aesthetic trim cover assembly.

摘要: A boot seal mounted on a pivotal ball joint comprises a boss portion, a waist portion disposed in the outer periphery of the boss portion and a skirt portion disposed in the outer periphery of the waist portion. The boss portion has an upper surface brought into intimate contact with a lower end surface of a joint member mounted on a shank of the ball joint, and the skirt portion has an internal wall brought into intimate contact with an upper outer periphery of a socket housing in the ball joint. The boss portion is provided at its lower surface with a flare portion protruded downward and outward. The flare portion has, while being elastically flexed, a lower edge placed in touch with an upper end surface of the socket housing. This elasticity of the flare portion provides a close contact between the lower edge of the flare portion and the upper end surface of the socket housing and a close contact between the upper surface of the boss portion and the lower end surface of the joint member.

摘要: A walk-in mechanism is provided to a seat, which includes an extension coil spring. One end of the extension coil spring is engaged with a first support element fixed to a floor, while another end thereof is engaged with a second support element fixed to the seat. The walk-in mechanism further includes a connecting element for operatively connecting such another end of extension coil spring with a seat back of the seat. Forward and backward movement of the seat causes movement of both of the second support element and another end of extension coil in forward and backward directions. Also, with forward inclination of the seat back, such another end of extension coil spring is moved backwardly via the connecting element. Hence, a tensile force of the extension coil spring is increased and decreased to allow a user to easily move the seat to either of walk-in position and normal use position.
