摘要: A non-transitory machine readable medium that has a computer program for adjusting color values of an image represented in a color space is described. The computer program displays a graphical representation of the color values of the image. The computer program receives a set of inputs on the graphical representation. In response to the received set of inputs, the computer program determines a color space transform for mapping a set of color values defined within the color space to a different set of color values. The computer program modifies the image by using the color space transform to change the color values of the image.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a method for detecting and/or identifying a set of faces in a video frame and performing a set of image processing operations based on locations of the set of faces. In particular, the method identifies a set of respective locations of the set of faces in the video frame and applies one or more image processing operations based on the locations of the set of faces found in the video frame. The image processing operations include color correction operations, non-color correction operations, and image processing operations that modify areas inside or outside of the detected and/or identified faces. Additionally, some embodiments provide a graphical user interface for automatically applying image processing operations to an area of a video frame isolated by an ellipse-shaped mask. Furthermore, some embodiments provide a system for automatically applying image processing operations to an area of a video frame isolated by an ellipse-shaped mask.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a method for editing an image that includes several pixels having pixel values in a color space. The method identifies (i) a shape in a plane of two dimensions of the color space and (ii) a range in a third dimension of the color space over which the first shape is propagated to form a first volume in the color space. Pixels whose pixel values are in the first volume of the color space are fully selected. The method displays a deformable curve along the third dimension that represents the manner in which the shape is propagated over the range of the color space.

摘要: This patent discloses a climbing vehicle capable of high payload to weight ratio and capable of climbing surfaces with geometric variations and traveling along a single dimension. More specifically, this invention applies to a vehicle well adapted to climbing non-planar surfaces such as pipes or other structural members while traveling along a single dimension, for example traveling parallel to the axis of the pipe. The climbing vehicle makes contact with the climbing surface through drive wheels and a trailing arm. The adhering members are aligned with the primary axis and are rigidly attached or contained in a suspension that is able to conform to a large range of surface irregularities while providing push and pulling forces between the adhering members and the climbing vehicle chassis to uniformly distribute the climbing loads on the adhering members. The result is a climbing machine that can accommodate large surface irregularities while maximizing the climbing payload with a minimum number and size of adhering members.

摘要: A climbing vehicle with wheel or endless-track type propulsion using suction for generating adhering forces is adapted to climbing non-planar surfaces such as intersecting walls, pipes or other structural members. The suction chamber is relatively fixed to the vehicle chassis and moves with the vehicle chassis. A seal is created around the suction chamber through an adaptive sealing mechanism. The adaptive sealing mechanism consists of a series of links that adapt to the climbing surface geometry and forms a seal at the climbing surface. The links in the adaptive sealing mechanism span a portion of the suction chamber along the longitudinal sides of the vehicle and are elastically sprung to maintain contact with the surface. The adaptive sealing mechanism links also span the lateral sides of the vehicle to fully enclose the suction chamber. Thus, the suction chamber is maintained even as the mobile vehicle passes over significant geometry changes in the climbing surface, for example transitioning between surfaces that are orthogonally opposed.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a program that provides a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI includes a display area for displaying an image that includes several pixels. Each pixel includes a set of pixel values in a three-dimensional color space. The GUI includes a first selectable GUI item for activating a color masking tool (1) for selecting a set of pixels in the image and (2) for defining a three-dimensional volume to encompass the pixel values of the set of pixels in the three-dimensional color space. The three-dimensional volume serves as an approximation of a rectangular cuboid that has at least one rounded corner. The GUI includes a second selectable GUI item for applying a color correction operation to the image by modifying pixels in the image that have pixel values encompassed by the three-dimensional volume in the three-dimensional color space.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a computer program for performing a color matching operation. The computer program identifies first and second images. Each image includes several pixels. Each pixel includes a luma component value. Based on analysis of the luma component values of the pixels of the first and second images, the computer program determines a set of transforms to modify pixel values of the first image so that the pixel values of the first image are similar to pixel values of the second image. The computer program applies the set of transforms to the first image such that the pixel values of the first image are similar to the pixel values of the second image.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a program that performs a color balance operation. The program identifies an image that includes several pixels. Each pixel includes a luma component value and chroma component values. The program analyzes the luma component values of the pixels in the image to identify several luma ranges. The program determines, for each luma range in the several luma ranges, a set of transforms for modifying chroma component values of pixels in the image in order to remove a color cast from the image. The program applies the sets of transforms to the image to remove the color casts from the image.
