    摘要: A method of quickly detecting a handmade explosive in a bottle with a low erroneous alarm frequency is provided. A sample gas generated from a bottle placed on a bottle placement space is sucked-in, and ions of the sample gas are generated by an ion source and subjected to mass analysis. The presence/absence of a mass spectrum derived from the handmade explosive is determined from an obtained mass spectrum, and the result thereof is displayed on a monitor, thereby quickly detecting the handmade explosive in the bottle or the handmade explosive adhering to the surface of the bottle at a low erroneous alarm frequency.

    摘要: Mass transit terrorism is prevented to construct a safe society. Individual explosive sensing devices are connected by a network to establish a security system. Information collected in the security center is compared with a database to determine a risk. When the risk exceeds a predetermined level upon determination of the risk, measures may be taken such that an alarm is activated and instructions for making a security guard carry out the parcel inspection of the person causing the risk are transmitted to the security guard. According to the present invention, the security can be enhanced while the social life is still convenient even when the explosive sensing device having a high throughput is employed at places such as mass transit where many people gather. Therefore, the terror risk on the mass transit can be reduced to contribute to construction of the safe society.

    摘要: A gas monitoring apparatus includes a sample introducing portion, a measurement portion, an ionization portion, a mass analysis portion, a data processing portion and a display. The sample introducing portion introduces a sample gas including an object material to be measured. The measurement portion measures a concentration of a predetermined coexisting material, which coexists with the object material in the sample gas. The ionization portion ionizes the sample gas. The mass analysis portion analyzes mass of an ion produced by the ionization portion. The data processing portion analyzes signals detected by the mass analysis portion to calculate a concentration of the object material. And the display displays results of analysis conducted by the data processing portion. The data processing portion includes an adjustment portion which adjusts the concentration of the object material according to the concentration of the predetermined coexisting material.

A data processor 6 determines the detection or non-detection of a specific m/z of an organic acid adduct ion obtained by adding a molecule generated from the organic acid to a molecule with specific m/z generated from a target chemical substance to be detected based on the obtained mass spectrum. When there is an ion peak with the m/z of the organic acid adduct ion, the presence of the target chemical substance to be detected is determined, and an alarm is sounded.False detection can be prevented.

    摘要: Firstly, the following check chip is set up into a heater: A check chip onto which a sample has been picked up by wiping out the surface of a check target, or a check chip formed by absorbing and collecting the sample into a filter. Here, the filter has been set up in a vibration-type or heating-type portable-type absorption probe in an attachment/detachment-capable manner. Secondly, a sample gas generated from the heated check chip is analyzed using a tandem-type mass spectrometer. This makes it possible to simplify the sample pick-up from various types of check targets, and to shorten the pick-up time and the checking time.

    摘要: An optical signal synthesizer having an optical slab waveguide constructed from three layers in which optical pulses are introduced. A first cut-away portion of the optical slab waveguide has a plano-concave shape serving as a plano-convex lens which collimates the introduced optical pulses, a second cut-away portion of the optical slab waveguide serving as a diffraction grating for parallel light beams in which the optical pulses are separated into every frequency, and a third cut-away portion of the optical slab waveguide has a plano-concave shape serving as a plano-convex lens by which the separated optical pulses are focused on a different spatial position associated with each frequency. A spatial light modulator is fabricated at the focusing position in the optical slab waveguide which allows the optical pulses subjected to optical modulation every frequency to pass therethrough according to an applied electrical signal. A fourth cut-away portion of the optical slab waveguide has a plano-concave shape serving as a plano-convex lens which collimates each modulated optical frequency component individually, and a fifth cut-away portion of the optical slab waveguide serving as a diffraction grating for the modulated optical pulses restores the modulated optical pulses to the parallel light beams.
