Abstract: A method performed by a WTRU may comprise receiving a plurality of LBT configurations associated with one or more of a beam, a BWP, a LCH, a set of LBT parameters, a transmission type or an LBT subband. The method may further comprise receiving an indication to transmit using a first LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. An attempt to acquire a channel may then be made using the first LBT configuration. The indication to transmit may additionally indicate a second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. Data may be transmitted on the channel when the attempt to acquire the channel is successful. An attempt to acquire the channel using the second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations may be made when the attempt to acquire the channel using the first LBT configuration fails.

Abstract: The exchange of resource allocation assistance information between a requester User Equipment (UE) and an assistant UE allows the requester to make better resource allocation decisions. The assistance information may include a blacklist, a whitelist, resource allocation information, a candidate resource set, and measurement information, for example. Both UEs may have an assistance configuration to assist in the exchange of resource allocation assistance information, that may be obtained from a third apparatus, such as a base station. The configuration may include information related to when to trigger assistance, identities of UEs, and types of assistance information, for example. The requester may, based on the assistance information received, modify a candidate resource set at a Medium Access Control (MAC) layer. The requester may, at the MAC layer, determine a configured sidelink grant for a selected destination using assistance information targeting this destination.

Abstract: A user equipment device (UE) initiates the creation of a dedicated bearer between a local gateway (L-GW) and a packet data network gateway (P-GW). A GTP tunnel is established to connect the L-GW, a serving gateway (S-GW), and the P-GW. The L-GW and P-GW apply Network Address Translation (NAT) and/or Traffic Flow Template (TFT) to route the traffic between the LS and a Service Capacity Server/Application Server (SCS/AS). Alternatively, an SCS-initiates the bearer creation, and an SCEF manages the creation of the GTP tunnel connection. The L-GW may be co-located with an Evolved UTRAN Node B (eNB) and/or connected to multiple eNBs which are not co-located with the L-GW.

Abstract: A method for use in a wireless transmit/receiver unit is disclosed. A method may include receiving configuration information indicating a value for a timer associated with feedback reporting and receiving information indicating a presence of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) transmission resource and indicating a request for a feedback report including feedback associated with the CSI-RS transmission resource. The method may include determining a validity of a feedback report based on a time between the CSI-RS transmission resource and a feedback report resource and based on the timer associated with feedback reporting and transmitting, based on a determination that the feedback report is valid, the feedback report in the feedback report resource.

On a condition that a trigger event occurs, the source WTRU generates a new source L2 ID, communicates the new source L2 ID to the peer WTRU, receives from the peer WTRU a message that responds to the new source L2 ID, and communicates between the source WTRU and the peer WTRU based on the new source L2 ID.

Abstract: Access category management objects may be configured for use in support of access category configurations of a user equipment (UE). Various methods for a UE configuration with access categories are disclosed. Signaling methods by a radio access network of access barring parameters such as a signaling method for a partial list of access barring parameters with explicit signaling of access category indexes and a signaling method for a full list of access barring parameters where access categories are signaled using a bitmap are disclosed. Access control parameters and an access control architecture in terms of access control function distribution within the UE protocol sublayers, solutions that address the impact of access control in a connected mode on a buffer status report, logical channel prioritization and flow control between the UE AS and UE NAS, and details regarding access barring checks are also disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may comprise a processor. The processor may be configured to receive (e.g., via broadcast) configuration information indicating a time that a same-PCI satellite switch may occur. In one or more examples, the WTRU may transmit assistance information prior to the same-PCI satellite switch. The assistance information may, for example, include a re-synchronization duration, capabilities to synchronization procedures, and/or a time indication for resuming TX and/or RX. The WTRU may receive configuration information for satellite re-synchronization. The WTRU may perform the same-PCI satellite switch to the second satellite, for example, based on the configuration information indicating the time for the same-PCI satellite switch. In performing the same-PCI satellite switch, the WTRU may start a resynchronization gap, suspend UL TX and/or DL RX, and/or perform re-synchronization procedure(s).
