Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition or an anticancer agent for preventing and treating non-small cell lung cancer, containing a substance for regulating the expression or activity of transmembrane 4 L six family member 4 (TM4SF4). More specifically, the present invention relates to a use of a substance for regulating the expression or activity of TM4SF4 as an anticancer drug or an anticancer agent with respect to non-small cell lung cancer, wherein it was ascertained that it is possible to decrease the growth, metastasis, and infiltration of adenocarcinoma cells and radioresistance by decreasing the expression of TM4SF4 in adenocarcinoma among non-small cell lung cancers and to decrease the growth, metastasis, and infiltration of the cells and radioresistance by increasing the expression of TM4SF4 in other non-small cell lung cancers except adenocarcinoma.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method for enhancing sensitivity of cancer cells to compounds or radiation by inhibiting the expression of testis-specific protein, Y-encoded like 5 (TSPYL5). More specifically, because methylation of TSPYL5 protein expressed in lung cancer cell line was inhibited to increase the expression level of the gene, resistance to stress such as radiation or anticancer agents was increased. Because the sensitivity of cancer cells to stress such as radiation or anticancer agents was increased by inhibiting the expression of the TSPYL5 gene to promote the apoptosis of the cells, an anticancer supplement agent containing an inhibitor of the expression or activity of the TSPYL5 gene of the present invention inhibits the growth of cancer cells and enhances the sensitivity to various stresses to maximize the apoptosis. Thus, when used in combination with radiotherapy or chemotherapy, the anticancer supplement agent may be used very usefully for anticancer treatment.
Abstract:
A fan apparatus and an air conditioner employing such a fan apparatus are provided to reduce noise and enhance efficiency. The fan apparatus may be driven by a BLDC motor that stably drives the fan and increases an air flow rate. Heat exchange efficiency of an outdoor unit of a front suction/discharge type air conditioner may be improved by such a fan apparatus driven by such a BLDC motor.

The present invention relates to a recombinant Escherichia coli having phbCAB originated from Alcaligenes eutrophus and an overproduction method of polyhydroxyalkanoate using the same, more precisely, a recombinant Escherichia coli ‘MG1655/pTZ18U-PHB’ or ‘JIL938/pTZ18U-PHB’ having phbCAB originated from Alcaligenes eutrophus and an overproduction method of polyhydroxyalkanoate comprising the steps of preparing transformed Escherichia coli having phbCAB originated from Alcaligenes eutrophus, inoculating and culturing the cells (growth phase), inducing the production of polyhydroxyalkanoate in the recomibnant Escherichia coli (stationary phase and producing phase), and inducing the extracellular secretion of the polyhydroxyalkanoate from the recombinant Escherichia coli. The method of the present invention facilitates not only overproduction of polyhydroxyalkanoate such as polyhydroxybutyrate by a simple batch culture but also industrial use of biodegradable polyhydroxyalkanoate replacing conventional non-biodegradable plastics by its simple and easy fermentation, separation and purification process.

The present invention discloses a front suction/discharge type outdoor unit for an air conditioner including: an outdoor unit casing being formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, having its one surface externally opened and its other surfaces closed, and being divided into a suction unit and a discharge unit; a compressor installed in the outdoor unit casing, for compressing a refrigerant gas supplied from an indoor unit through pipe lines; an air-cooled condenser positioned in the outdoor unit casing, for condensing the refrigerant gas from the compressor; and a sirocco cooling fan installed in the outdoor unit casing, for forming a diffuser opposite side part of a curvature unit of a housing as a plane unit, forming the fan housing to separate a diffuser opposite side member from a diffuser side member, supplying external air to the air-cooled condenser, and discharging heat exchanged air. A discharge direction of air from the sirocco cooling fan becomes more distant from the most adjacent outdoor unit.

A built-in type compressor/condenser unit for an air conditioner with an efficient installation structure for installing an increased capacity outdoor unit is provided. The built-in type compressor/condenser unit includes a louver frame installed on a rectangular shaped space formed on an outer wall of a building. The louver frame is divided into a suction area and a discharge area, each with a plurality of louver blades. The compressor/condenser unit casing is positioned proximate the louver frame, with the surface of the casing which faces the suction area and the discharge area of the louver frame open, and the remaining surfaces of the casing closed. A compressor, an air-cooled condenser, and a cooling fan are installed in the compressor/condenser unit casing.

A combustion fan installation structure of a gas radiation oven range is disclosed in which a combustion fan (200) is coupled at a space outside a space where a radiant burner (40) is positioned. Since the temperature of the sucked air for combustion is constantly maintained, an air with a sufficient air density can be supplied. Thus, it can have a stable combustion performance. In addition, an influence of the temperature change generated when the oven or the grill is operated can be excluded. Accordingly, a reliability of a combustion performance of the gas radiation oven range to be mainly used in kitchens or in hotels can be improved.
