Abstract:
A connector assembly is provided with a body that extends along a lateral length with a longitudinal height defined by a first body surface and an opposing second body surface. A locking terminal extends through the body and includes an elongate blade having a distal end for electrically connecting to a mating connector and a proximal end adapted to electrically connect to an electronic component with an aperture. At least one tab extends lengthwise from an intermediate portion of the blade and extends through the electronic component aperture. A projection extends outward from the tab such that the projection interferes with the aperture during insertion of the tab therethrough for deforming the tab. After insertion, the tab returns from the deformation and engages the projection to the electronic component for retaining the tab within the aperture.
Abstract:
A circuit interrupting device is disclosed that includes a first conductor, a second conductor, a switch between the first conductor and the second conductor wherein the switch is disposed to selectively connect and disconnect the first conductor and the second conductor, a circuit interrupter disposed to generate a circuit interrupting actuation signal, a solenoid coil and plunger assembly disposed to open the switch wherein the solenoid coil and plunger assembly is actuatable by the circuit interrupting actuation signal wherein movement of the plunger causes the switch to open, and a test assembly that is configured to enable a test of the circuit interrupter initiating at least a partial movement of the plunger in a test direction, from a pre-test configuration to a post-test configuration, without opening the switch.

Abstract:
A system for cross-selling products and/or services across an enterprise comprising an enterprise-level decision engine and a plurality of line-of-business decision engines; wherein characteristics derived by the enterprise-level decision engine are used by the line-of business-level decision engines to generate cross-sell offer decisions; enterprise-level business rules and line-of-business-level business rules are managed independently of one another; a publish-subscribe message framework allows data to be published at an enterprise level and subscribed to by the line-of-business decision engines according to business rules established at the line-of-business level; the line-of-business decision engines generate cross-sell offer decisions; and the enterprise-level decision engine stores data to and retrieves data from an operational and an analytics data repository. A method of using the system described above to generate cross-sell offer decisions.
Abstract:
An apparatus and system are disclosed for storing an electronic memory card. The apparatus, in one embodiment, is a memory card holder configured to removably retain a memory card within the cavity of a housing. The memory card holder may include a housing that resembles a recognizable electronic device (such as a PDA, a digital camera, or the like) but is natively inoperative as an electronic device, a cavity formed within the housing, and a retaining mechanism positioned within the cavity to removably retain a memory card. The memory card holder may further include an aperture integrally formed in the housing for attaching the housing to an object, such as a key chain, bag, string, or the like.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a method to detect IgE using a human Fc epsilon receptor (FcεR) to detect IgE antibodies in a biological sample from a cat, a dog, or a horse. The present invention also relates to kits to perform such methods.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method for producing purified compositions of bispecific molecules each comprising (a) an antigen recognition portion that binds a C3b-like receptor and (b) one or more double-stranded DNA molecules cross-linked to the antigen recognition portion. In particular, the invention provides a method for purifying bispecific molecules using alcohol precipitation. The invention also relates to the purified products of bispecific molecules. The purified compositions of the invention are useful for treating Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
Abstract:
The present invention provides analogs of benzoquinone-containing ansamycins and uses thereof for treating and modulating disorders associated with hyperproliferation, such as cancer. The present invention provides analogs of benzoquinone-containing ansamycins where the benzoquinone is reduced to a hydroquinone and trapped by reaction with a suitable acid, preferably ones that increase the solubility and air stability of the resulting 17-ammonium hydroquinone ansamycin analog.
Abstract:
A tire pressure monitoring system (12) for a vehicle (10) has a plurality of tires (14a-d) in respective rolling locations having a respective plurality of tire transmitters (16a-d) that generate a respective plurality of transmitter identification signals. A controller (22) is coupled to a counter that counts ignition cycle transitions. The controller enters a learn mode in response to the count and the brake condition signal. The system may also include a display for signaling the vehicle operator to perform a desired action. The controller generates a plurality of display signals on the display indicative of the respective plurality of tire locations and activates a timer when the plurality of transmitter identification signals are received before a predetermined time is counted by the timer.
