摘要： In a surface acoustic wave transducer having closely space-apart IDT electrode segments, a metallic oxide is selectively formed only along the marginal edge of each electrode segment so that it separates adjacent electrode segments, thereby preventing short-circuiting therebetween, permitting easy fabrication of the transducer and improving the yield rate of fabrication.

摘要： A surface acoustic wave filter device includes a substrate which comprises quartz or the like piezoelectric having a small temperature coefficient and which is formed with unidirectional transducers of asymmetrical construction. A floating electrode is spaced from intermediate position between adjacent positive and negative electrodes which are arranged in interdigital manner, to effectively utilize a mechanical reflection caused by the floating electrode. In consideration of the sign and magnitude of the reflection factor of the floating electrodes, short-circuited electrodes only are used for the floating electrodes. The surface acoustic wave filter device has improved temperature characteristic, insertion loss characteristic and phase characteristic.

摘要： An ID card includes an electric wave receiver for receiving an electric wave from a main station, a modulator for modulating a received signal in accordance with an ID number, and an electric wave transmitter for transmitting a modulated electric wave signal to the main station. The main station identifies the ID card on the basis of the modulated electric wave signal. The ID card further includes a surface acoustic wave exciting device for coupling the electric wave receiver and the electric wave transmitter through surface acoustic wave on a piezoelectric substrate by means of the modulator and a circuit including a terminating device and a switching element and connected in parallel with the surface acoustic wave exciting device. The switching element is controlled to be turned on and off in accordance with the ID number to control the coupling between the electric wave receiver and the electric wave transmitter.
