Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition. This composition is characterized in that it comprises, as active ingredient, a green extract of seeds of the Aframomum angustifolium or longoza plant, obtained by extraction with a polar solvent of polyol, in particular a glycol, optionally in a cosmetically acceptable excipient. This cosmetic composition has a good anti-aging effect.
Abstract:
The invention relates to poly(oligo(ethylene glycol) methacrylate) microgels, to the process for preparing same and the uses thereof in various fields of application such as optics, electronics, pharmacy and cosmetics. These microgels have the advantage of being monodisperse, pH-responsive and temperature-responsive. They can carry magnetic nanoparticles or biologically active molecules. These microgels may also form transparent films, which have novel optical and electromechanical properties.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a perfuming eau de toilette or eau de parfum composition comprising a high proportion of alcohol, for direct application on the skin or hair by spraying. More specifically, it relates to a sprayable perfume composition having excellent properties such as persistence of the olfactory note once applied on the skin. The composition is transparent and contains ethanol, 0 to 30% by weight of water, 3 to 40% by weight of a perfume concentrate and a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a water-in-oil emulsion for making up the lips that is very fluid while remaining stable. For example, the emulsion contains at least 30% by weight of a mixture of oils, at least 30% by weight of water, from 10% to 20% by weight of a volatile solvent, from 2% to 4% by weight of ethylcellulose, from 1.5% to 2.5% by weight of a hectorite modified with an organic compound, said mixture of oils comprising isostearyl isotearate, at least one ester of polyglycerol, and octyldodecanol.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of measuring the elasticity and firmness of skin. The invention also relates to methods of measuring improvements in a person's skin health by measuring firmness and elasticity before, during and after a cosmetic treatment. The invention further relates to methods of measuring the improvement in a person's skin firmness and elasticity that a cosmetic agent may cause when applied on the skin.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel multicolour, multitexture and multimaterial cosmetic products as well as to a method for hot casting cosmetic compositions containing fats, in particular an oil.Said method advantageously renders a mold superfluous and allows the creation of products that include a plurality of compositions such as to produce highly original appearances. Said method also allows the production of products with a very irregular raised designs.

Abstract:
A subject-matter of the invention is a cosmetic product comprising a container having at least one cavity in which is positioned an assembly of a solid inclusion part and of a fixing composition having a drop point greater than 50° C. and a mean hardness of less than 2800 g.The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of this product which consists in preparing the inclusion part, in depositing it on the bottom of the container and in then casting the fixing composition in order for it to surround the part and fix it to the container. This invention makes it possible to present several cosmetic products without having to resort to a compartmentalized container.
Abstract:
The invention relates in particular to a novel extract of the seeds of the Kniphofia uvaria plant, preferably obtained by bringing into contact with at least one cosmetically acceptable nonpolar solvent, in particular CO2 under supercritical conditions, or by mechanical pressing. The invention also relates to a cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising said extract. The invention also relates to a cosmetic or dermatological care method comprising the application of said composition for preventing or delaying the appearance of the signs of skin aging, modulating the reactivity of sensitive skin, or maintaining the barrier function of the skin.
Abstract:
A mascara brush extending along a main axis and having at least one branch equipped with applicator elements. At least one branch includes a primary branch having an inner blade an outer blade meeting in such a way as to form a closed loop, and the inner blade is located at a distance from the main axis which is non-zero and less than a distance from the outer blade to the main axis.
