Abstract:
A voltage generating circuit, which generates tri-state logic output in accordance with high, low or floating of the input node, is proposed. The present voltage generating circuit includes: a pulse generating circuit for generating a plurality of pulses; a voltage selecting circuit having a pair of NMOS transistors coupled in common source, each drain of the NMOS transistors is coupled to a current source respectively, both gates of the NMOS transistors are coupled to an input node, and the paired drain of the NMOS transistors generate a pair of voltage output; a plurality of flip-flops, which couple to drains of the NMOS transistors to lock the voltage output of the NMOS transistors in accordance with the pulses; an inner voltage-generating unit couples to the input node for providing a floating voltage level; and a plurality of switches controlled by the pulses for controlling the normal operation of the voltage selecting circuit and the conduction between the inner-voltage generating unit with the input node.
Abstract:
A lock includes a body, a wheel, an outside spindle, and a locking plug. The outside spindle includes a front end having an extension not in contact with a circumferential wall defining a through-hole of the wheel. When the locking plug is in an unblocking position allowing retraction operation of a latch bolt, the front end of the outside spindle is engaged with the wheel to allow joint rotation of the outside spindle and the wheel. When the locking plug is moved from the unblocking position to the blocking position not allowing retraction operation of the latch bolt, movement of a push member pushes the front end of the outside spindle away from the through-hole of the wheel such that the front end of the outside spindle is disengaged from the circumferential wall of the through-hole of the wheel, thereby disengaging the outside spindle from the wheel.
Abstract:
A dimming method for LED driving circuit is proposed. By temporary switching a pin that is originally used for the input/output of other electric signals to a high impedance node, the dimming control signal may be inputted to dim LEDs. The dimming method comprises the steps of: floating the pin every a period of time to pull the pin's voltage being equal to the dimming control signal; detecting the pin's voltage; and retrieving the dimming control signal in accordance with the detected pin's voltage and thereafter dimming the LEDs.
Abstract:
A mode transition control method and circuit switch a charge pump to an operating mode with lower conversion ratio at a regular interval when the input voltage of the charge pump is detected close to a mode transition point, so as to prevent from misjudgment on the mode transition of the charge pump due to external noise, loading change, or inaccurate equivalent resistance of the charge pump.
Abstract:
A hinge has a first bracket, a pivot pin, a second bracket and two torsion spring assemblies. The first bracket has a support and two holders. The pivot pin is mounted rotatably through the support and the holders on the base of the first bracket. The second bracket is mounted to the pivot pin. The torsion spring assemblies are mounted on the pivot pin, correspond respectively to the holders on the first bracket and each torsion spring assembly has a disk and a torsion spring: The disk is mounted securely to the pivot pin and has a spring hook. The torsion spring is mounted around the pivot pin and has two ends. One end is mounted securely on the corresponding holder and the other end is engaged detachably with the spring hook on the disk. The torsion springs provide a recovering force to keep the pivot pin from pivot inadvertently.

An escutcheon assembly for a lock includes a mounting plate and a cover plate. The mounting plate is mounted to a front face of a door. The mounting plate comprises a receiving section for receiving a lock body of a lock cylinder. The cover plate is securely mounted around the mounting plate. The cover plate comprises a figure-8-shaped through-hole aligned with a figure-8-shaped cross section of an interchangeable lock core removably mounted in the lock body. The mounting plate and the cover plate can be made by inexpensive punching. Replacement of the cover plate, when desired, can be easily achieved at a low cost.

A mortise lock includes a chassis, a handle assembly mounted to a side of the chassis, a sleeve, and a trim for returning the handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a spindle and a handle. An end of the sleeve is securely mounted around an end of the spindle to turn therewith. The other end of the sleeve receives the other end of the spindle and is securely connected to the handle. The trim includes a spring seat, a ring received in the spring seat and mounted around the sleeve, and a spring mounted on a side of the ring. The spring seat includes a plate mounted around the sleeve. A protrusion is formed on an inner periphery of the body and engaged in a longitudinal groove in the sleeve. Two ends of the spring respectively abut against two sides of a leg extending from the ring.

Abstract:
A control device, which controls a power-converting module that is coupled to a light-emitting component, includes a duration detecting unit and a control signal generator. The duration detecting unit compares the duration of a predetermined logic state of a pulsating input dim control signal with a reference time period. The control signal generator is enabled by the duration detecting unit so as to generate a control signal that enables the power-converting module to generate a drive voltage for driving the light-emitting component when the duration of the predetermined logic state is not longer than the reference time period. The duration detecting unit disables the control signal generator to disable the power-converting module when the duration of the predetermined logic state is longer than the reference time period.
