Abstract: A recording device includes: an acquisition unit (102) configured to acquire vital signs through a multi-electrode catheter (X) having a plurality of electrodes; a recording unit (104) configured to record a bipolar potential of a main channel which is defined by combining the plurality of electrodes, using the vital signs; an addition unit (32) configured to add a mark to each waveform plotted based on a potential of the bipolar potential, at a predetermined position on a time axis; and an adjusting unit (33) configured to adjust a position of the mark added to each waveform. The adjusting unit (33) is configured to adjust the position of the mark added to the bipolar potential of the main channel, based on bipolar potentials of reference channels including electrodes included in the main channel.

Abstract: It is an object to provide a surgical tool for excising a hard solid organ such as cirrhotic liver or cutting the organ into a groove without causing bleeding. The inventors of the present invention have found that an organ resection tool including a brush-like structure capable of performing microwave irradiation and/or a brush-like structure capable of receiving a microwave can achieve the above-mentioned object, to thereby arrive at the present invention (organ resection tool including a brush structure capable of performing microwave irradiation). For example, an organ can be crushed or scraped away by manually abrading the organ with a brush of a solid organ resection tool including a brush structure capable of performing microwave irradiation according to the present invention. Further, the organ can be concurrently coagulated through the microwave irradiation to stop bleeding.

Abstract: Provided is a surgical instrument that can easily bring the coracoid process into proximity with the scapular neck. A surgical instrument 1 of the present invention includes a shaft 2 extending in the first direction, and an inclined part 3 extending from the tip of the shaft 2 in the second direction. The second direction, in which the inclined part 3 extends, is inclined at an angle of α in a range of 95° or more and 115° or less to the first direction, in which the shaft 2 extends, and the inclined part 3 includes on the outer edge thereof a notch 10 through which a screw is passed.

Abstract: A steerable catheter includes a flexible tube having a distal end and a proximal end. The tube includes a first tube section (sheath body section) the flexibility of which does not substantially change even upon receiving compression force in the axial direction; and a second tube section (deflection section) joined so as to be continuous with the distal end of the first tube section and constituted by a porous tube becoming hard upon being compressed according to the degree of the compression force acting in the axial direction and returning to being soft when the compression force is released. The tube includes operation means (wires) for releasably exerting a compression force compressing the second tube section in the axial direction and a deflection force deflecting the second tube section. According to some embodiments, both operability and insertability of the steerable catheter can be improved.

Abstract: A movable catheter is provided with a tube having a main lumen. The tube has a plurality of wire lumens and is provided with a wire. A substantial half on one end portion side thereof is inserted through the wire lumen, an intermediate part thereof is folded back in the distal end portion of the tube, and a substantial half on the other end portion side thereof is inserted through the wire lumen. The one end portion and the other end portion thereof are disposed on the proximal end side of the tube. Various embodiments enable the number of components to be reduced, and to reduce the number of manufacturing steps.
